He stared blankly at the wall his mind wandered off as he thought about yesterday's event. Seated in his study room, but his thoughts were elsewhere. His expression raw, vulnerable countless of reasons flooded his mind. Yet he couldn't ponder anything that could lead to Hia ending their relationship. He was left there hanging, abandoned with unspoken words.

The chair squeaked as he abruptly stood up from his seat. His footsteps led him ahead of his thought.

He noticed the maids positioned side by side the entrance door as he made his way down. His footsteps heading for the door, a sudden opening ceased his pace.

As the door fully extended, a slim, confident, commanding figure stood.

"Real" A voice echoed with sophistication. "my son how are you? Oh look at you, time passed in the blink of an eye you're all grown up." Real's mother stated as she confidently moved with poise.

Real remained silent as he sighed heavily. After a long pause he finally spoke.

"You're back a month early? Wasn't it supposed to be three months in Singapore?" He questioned merely acknowledging her presence.

"Well, my work ended early thought I should pay a visit." She answered, giving him a faint smile. "How are you? Have you decided where you wanna go for college?"

He sighed in frustration at the question. "Don't you think it's too early for that?" He answered.

"Why not you're a senior now, you should be thinking of the future." She stated as her hand brushed through Real's collar, adjusting it. "Canada, USA, Sweden- USA is good."

"I'll think about it when I'm a senior." He replied curtly, making his mother turn her gaze to him in realization.

She barely knew anything about Real.
"Well- great then think about it thoroughly." She masked the humiliation in her face. "Secretary Park, continue with my schedule."

Real merely glanced at his mother after she strolled graciously inside her office.

With the bit of frustration left he stormed inside, interrupting the conversation.

"Are you not gonna ask how I'm doing?" He snapped irritably yet his voice stayed steady. "Or how my health is?"

She arched her brow at the question as she glanced at him reading his expression. Her expression turned intensely serious. She shifted her gaze to the secretary. "Sec.Park? How many staff have I assigned to take care of Real?" She spoke her voice firm and unwavering.

"Three health specialist, eight private tutors, two nutritionist, and two assistants." He stated in a professional manner.

A hint of satisfaction appeared on her face as she faced Real. "I don't think there would be questions asked regarding that." She stated leaving no room for arguments.

Yet Real unfazed, persisted, "I've sat dinner with you only once, you missed my birthday last year, and—" He sighed heavily as he held back the unspoken words that threatened to spill out his mouth.

"I'm still eighteen, I'm still at the age where I need a parent's care." He uttered firmly as if swallowing the unvoiced words down his throat.

A look of indifference appeared on her face as she glanced at him. "Fifteen assistants," She said firmly, "What kind of attention are you lacking?"

Real sighed in defeat lowering his head slightly before sauntering off.
As he walked outside the door, sports car were already lined up. He walked past the first and second car as his assistant picked the car keys.
The engine roared as it drove off.
