Real sat stiffly on the couch, the hotel room was dimly lit justified by the projector's illuminating light. His gaze fixed, reminiscing and longing evident in his eyes. His gaze locked onto the projector screen. Videos of him and Hia, his cherished moments of him- with him,
together.
"Look at the sky Real." Hia's voice echoed through the quiet room. Soft and endearing, the typical Hia whom Real had known. They had snuggled into the round shaped daybed near the warm golden glow and gentle roar of the bonfire. A quiet scenery had unfolded saved by the humming of the lush green grass of the forest, winds whispering secrets into the summer air. The sun had began to set, casting a warm glow into the horizon.
"What about it?" He asked, his voice softer than he intended.
"You know, I often find solace by the sea, lying down gazing up at the sky. It's my tiny sanctuary, it has a way of calming my anxious mind and soothing my soul." He began a soft smile parted from his lips, he glanced up at Real. He couldn't help but feel vulnerable under his gaze. His eyes had sparkle with nothing but an overwhelming look of devotion.
"You make me feel like that, you're my sea Real."
Real paused in admiration, he had cupped his face gently brushing his cheeks softly. "I like you, so much that it's impossible for me to like someone else this hard."
But then...
He opened his eyes, reality humbled him. Hia was gone, and something is missing in his world.
"Hia, just what the hell is going on with you?" Real sighed in exasperation rubbing his temples, he closed his eyes attempting to ease the tension that weighed on his shoulder. With quick determination he yanked his phone out the table, opening his contacts yet his hands lingered the moment he saw his name. He paused, collecting his thoughts before pressing the call button.
And then... The familiar voice resonated through the other line.
"What?"
Hia questioned, his voice detached and blunt.
"Let's meet right now." Real delivered the same attitude. Fine. If you're acting like this, you leave me with no choice Hia.

Hia walked inside his room, he slowly stopped, eyes scanning the inside. The room was immaculate. Surfaces were dust-free and polished. Like it had never been touch for once. Because it never had, of course this is his house, but never his home.
He slowly walked toward his drawer, opening it in one swift motion. Stuffs rested inside, untouched for months. He brushed off the small dusts as his hand touched a polaroid sized photo. His hands lingered onto the photo, it was lightweighted yet heavy with the unforgotten memories, he wanted to feel it—again—the moment. With him—with Real.
A sudden knock interrupted his solitude. Instinctively, he turned around facing his brother leaning against the door.
"What?" He demanded his voice firm hiding the cracks on his calm expression.
With a lazy expression on the brother's face, he said. "Dad wanted to see you."
He sighed, "Why are you still here." He glared stopping infront of the door.

Hia stepped inside his father's study, the familiar scent of old books and coffee filling the air.
"You wanted to see me, Father?" He questioned.
After a short pause, the old man gestured him to sit, and Hia gracefully obliged.
"We are pleased to be invited dinner with the Kasettrat this Saturday." He began his voice firm and unwavering."It turns to be Miss Pimnara's eighteenth birthday, prepare her a special birthday present."
Hia remained silent yet he acknowledged his words. After a long pause, he spoke." Understood, regarding her birthday present I don't seem to know what she would like."
"A necklace? Bracelet? Dress? Or everything. That's how easily you can approach a woman, Hia." The old man boldly stated his gaze landed on Hia.
After that, he was dismissed from his office.
As he walked out the empty halls of his father's office, a voice spoke.
"Yeah, approaching a woman is that easy." A man spoke, Hia instinctively turned. "But you wouldn't know that, right bro?"
"Surely you would know that very much, Han, you casanova." Hia shot back glaring at the man infront of him. "And don't call me 'bro' again, it made my skin crawl."
Han laughed malice echoing in his voice. "Don't try me Hia, don't forget I still have my ultimate card. He sneered taking a step forward facing Hia. Once I reveal it for the world to see, you'll be exiled somewhere in a place where that bitch lives." His voice came dangerously low.
With that, he walked away hitting Hia's shoulder as he walked past him.
Hia shivered, How can he still have it? I got rid of it didn't I?
