Underneath his calm facade, everything inside him was cracking.
He held back the frantic rush of his mind to—do something—anything.

Hia exhaled heavily, letting the moment ease his tensed shoulder. He focused his mind— the house.

As much as he didn't want to go back to the haunting memories of his past, he didn't want a certain someone to get involved and hurt by his actions.

His hands lingered on the phone before calling his driver. With an icy, firm voice, he said. "Uncle Rit, get the car I'm going somewhere."

-

The sleek black car pulled over near an entrance gate, pale blue roses lined up on the side filling the air enough for Hia to smell a nostalgic memory. He stood infront of the blue gate, hesitant he unlocked the door softly.

"You don't have to wait for me, Uncle Rit, I can go back myself." He ordered, the uncle knew more than to persist, and just nodded.

He watched the car slowly drove off disappearing out of sight before Hia fully step foot inside the house. Then could he breath a sigh of relief, it wasn't enough to solve the problem that weighed on him. But it was enough to ease the tension on his shoulder.

Not long after the car fade away from a distant Hia's face could no longer control the panic creeping inside him. He rushed inside the house opening each drawer one by one only to be met with nothing. He then opened the last drawer inside his room. His hands shook every inch of the drawer, then his hand pressed onto it—he felt something and took it.

There it was, a usb. The usb. It was still there like it always had been.

His body jerked when his phone rang, a call from an unknown number.

"Who is it?" He demanded, his voice firm.

"Why were you ignoring my messages, Hia?" A distorted voice on the other end spoke. "Did you really think... That was just simple threats to scare you off?"

"I asked... Who is this?!" Hia retorted, he clenched his teeth.

A maniac laugh echoed on the other end, "...Ahh, You don't have to know. But you know what you should know? I'm being for real Hia, I will destroy everything—everyone around you." A long pause stretched on before the voice spoke again, this time with an unsettling way that sent shivers down his spine.

"...That guy Real, the two of you. I can see it Real's hotel very romantic. Very scandalous."

Before he could utter a single word a message popped up on his phone, briefly after the unknown number ended the call, they sent a video.
He collected himself before pressing the video.

-
Real had lifted Hia and slowly rested him on the sofa with a smirk on his face. Hia's arms had wrapped around Real's shoulder, his eyes had gleamed with lust. Overpowering the other emotions, love, patience.

Real could no longer restrain himself, his eyes had scanned his whole body. Could no longer restrain the demon inside him.

"Wanna say those three words?" He had whispered to Hia's ear. His breath rough against Hia's soft ear.

"Real..." Hia had whimpered, his voice was sinful. "Kiss me."

"Hia, I'm being for real. I don't wanna be just a friend. I wanna be more than —"

Their lips had met before Real could even finish his words. The kiss wasn't soft or tender, it was raw. Unfiltered desire. That neither of them could no longer control that night.

-

The recording went on yet Hia couldn't finish watching the video. He didn't have to. He knew what they did. But didn't knew some disgusting bastard hid a camera and recorded their sinful doings.

Hia's body shook uncontrollably, sweat dripping over his forehead, eyes wide with horror. He stuttered over his words but before he could talk the person on the other end already ended the call. Leaving Hia with questions left untold.

Another ringing resonated through his phone again. But this time. It was...

"Real..." Hia uttered his voice desperate. His legs went limp from fear making him fall to his knees. Hia hyperventilated his chest tightened.

He chose not to respond. Yet again. Real called him once more. Desperation overwhelmed him yet he forced a calm—detached—demeanor. He answered the call, he let the silent sit before he spoke.

"What?" He feigned a detached yet firm voice towards Real. But his body—his heart— was betraying him. He wanted to scream. To scream that everything wasn't okay. That he needed Real. But here he was, silent. Not uttering even the slightest bit of hint toward him. Just giving him the cold shoulder.

"Let's meet right now." Real's voice resonated, yet it only brought an overwhelming desperation towards Hia. Why now? When Hia just encountered a horrifying blackmail that could potentially end his entire life. Hia thought to himself, yet he knew what kind of person Real was. He was persistent and doesn't let others block his way into getting what he wanted. Even if he had to fight or hurt himself for both of them.

And that's what scares Hia, seeing Real ruin himself for him. Because he knew, if Real could, he would.
