Velvette's hand went to hold her girlfriend's face as their lips crashed together.
Until the ringing of a phone interrupted the make-out session going on between the two overlords.
"Ugh, it's Vox." Velvette grumbled. For a moment she considered just ignoring him, but then, you never know, it could be something important. She hit the answer button and sat up, meanwhile Rosie propped her elbows up, her face in her hands as the shorter woman held the phone to her ear.
"Velvette! Get down here we need your help."
"The fuck do you need my help with Vox?? I'm . . . I'm having tea with Rosie." The cannibal covered her mouth at the lie, a slight giggle escaping her throat.
"Just get down here! Me and Val are trying to figure out how we can get at Alastor."
"Fine." Velvette grumbled, hanging up. She turned to Rosie. "I've gotta go, Vox needs me down at the tower. I can come by later though."
Rosie yawned. "Alright then, see you later darling~"
~~~
"Okay, the fuck do you want?" Velvette put her purse down, glaring at the two men before her.
"Well," Vox said, getting to his feet. "You've been getting a little . . . close with Rosie. Who, mind you, is pretty much Alastor's right hand woman. If he had one anyways."
"Okay? So what if I'm friends with her?" Velvette asked, tilting her head.
Valentino sucked in a breath from his cigar, holding it in for a few moments before blowing it out. "We need you to spy." He said simply. "Get any and as much information as you can from that cannibal. Gain her trust and learn some fuckin' secrets."
Velvette stood for a moment. Well joke's on you, I already did.
But I can't tell them. I can't betray Rosie like that.
"No."
"No?!" Vox exclaimed. "NO?! WHAT DO YOU MEAN 'NO'??!"
"I mean I can't betray Rosie like that. Newsflash, I'm a bitch but not that kinda bitch. Find someone else to do your dirty work." The demoness turned away.
Fox's eye twitched. He stood up and grabbed the woman's arm, pulling her back.
"No! You are NOT leaving you little bitch!!" He hissed.
Velvette glared at him and pulled away. "I'm done with this," she turned and marched away, motioning to her souls for them to block the other two overlords.
"VELVETTE!" Vox shrieked, trying to shove past the demons blocking his path. "Ugh move cunts!"
Velvette marched out and down the street. Demons scrambled to get away and out of her path. She finally arrived at Cannibal Town again, looking around for her girlfriend as she headed down to the emporium.
Rosie looked up from her spot at the front, where multiple others were checking things out, all the while chattering nonstop with Alastor.
"All I'm saying is MAYBE-oh my, Velvette dear is everything okay?" She turned to the other woman who was both pissed off and about to cry.
"Hey Rosie, um, could I stay with you for a bit?" Velvette asked.
"Yeah of course. Is something wrong?" Rosie passed a dress to the man in front of her. "Hope your wife likes it." She smiled at him.
He gave her a quick nod and left.
"Um, yeah kinda but could we talk about it later?" Velvette said.
"Mhm. Alastor, get her some tea." Rosie told her friend, who gave an exasperated sigh, walking away and disappearing behind a door.
Rosie motioned for Velvette to come closer, and she pulled the female into her lap. Velvette rested her head on the overlord's shoulder, meanwhile Rosie grinned at the line and said; "tell anyone and yah dead."
They all just nodded and the next person put their items down.
Alastor emerged from the backdoor and passed Velvette a steaming cup of tea, and he and Rosie continued their conversation.
What a fucking time.
