The restaurant had settled into a steady rhythm over the past month, and Hoseok had somehow become part of their little world. He wasn’t just a frequent customer anymore—he was practically family.

The door chime rang, and before anyone could greet him, Jungkook called out from the kitchen, “Hobi-hyung, you’re late today!”

Hoseok blinked in mock offense as he strolled to the counter. “Excuse me? Since when do I have a fixed schedule?”

Jimin smirked, leaning against the counter. “Since you practically moved in here.”

“That’s called loyalty,” Hoseok shot back smoothly before turning to Jungkook. “Anyway, what’s on the menu, chef?”

Jungkook, unlike the first few weeks where he used to be stiff around Hoseok, only grinned. “Hmm… should I give you something special or just the usual?”

“Special, obviously. Give me your best.”

Yoongi, who was flipping through receipts, scoffed. “You mean the most expensive?”

“Hyung, don’t expose me like that.” Hoseok placed a hand over his chest dramatically, making Jimin snicker.

As Jungkook began preparing the dish, Hoseok leaned forward. “By the way, I saw the page. The engagement’s pretty solid.”

Jimin grinned proudly. “Of course. We all worked hard on it.”

Aunt, who was setting out freshly washed cups, nodded in approval. “It’s a good idea. More people have been coming in ever since we started posting.”

Hoseok smirked. “And let’s be real, most of them are coming for a certain someone.”

Jungkook, focused on the sizzling pan, raised a brow. “Who?”

Hoseok gave him a pointed look. “You.”

Jungkook blinked, then laughed. “Oh, come on.”

“No, really. Your cooking videos are a hit. People love watching you work.”

Jimin nudged Jungkook’s shoulder playfully. “Told you you’d be famous one day.”

Jungkook pouted, crossing his arms. “You guys tricked me into being the face of the restaurant.”

Yoongi, not even looking up, muttered, “Not our fault you’re photogenic.”

Hoseok laughed. “Exactly. You should see the comments. Half of them are about the food, and the other half are about you.”

Jungkook pretended to groan, but the way he was biting back a smile gave him away. “Fine,
but don’t expect me to start posing.”

Hoseok tapped his chin thoughtfully. “Hmm… so no wink at the camera while plating?”

Jungkook immediately threw a dish towel at him, making Jimin burst into laughter.

As he dodged, Hoseok grinned. “Knew I could get a reaction out of you.”

Jimin nodded approvingly. “Our Jungkookie is becoming a proper social butterfly.”

Jungkook, scrunching his nose, sighed. “I don’t know whether to be happy or regretful.”

Aunt chuckled. “It’s nice seeing you comfortable, Jungkook.”

Jungkook smiled softly. He was comfortable. A month ago, he wouldn’t have imagined feeling this at ease. But now, with the restaurant bustling, friendly teasing all around, and the warmth of this little found family…

Yeah, it wasn’t so bad.

The restaurant was alive with the usual evening buzz—soft clatter of plates, quiet conversations, and the comforting hum of the kitchen. Hoseok was perched on a stool near the counter, watching Jungkook cook with an amused grin.
