Domis paced back and forth, his foot tapped impatiently on the ground as he waited for a friend to show up. "So close!" he snapped to himself, as he pulled at his hair, angered that he hadn't captured or killed Lamos.
"Calm down, Domis. You'll get him next time." His friend stepped out of the darkness, and walked over to him. He was an older friend, with white hair, and a wrinkled face. He was actually more of a father to Domis then a friend, but of course the wizard hunter would never admit that.
Domis looked over at his friend, his teeth gritted. "No, Rein!" he snarled, as he drew his sword, hitting a tree with it to let out his pent up anger. "Lamos is different, and harder to catch! He almost killed me, this time! I just can't seem to kill him!"
Rein looked at him, as he nodded, taking in his friends anger. "Yes, but you're trying to beat him with a sword when he has magic. Try to outsmart him, set a trap that he can never resist, my dear boy," the old man said.
Domis paused his attack on the tree, his body turned to Rein now. His lips quirked up into a smirk, his eyes now tinkled at the idea. "You're right," he said. "I just need to outsmart him." He rubbed his hands together, a laugh escaping him. "I know where he's heading, the North West."
Rein nodded as he leaned on his old staff. "Perfect. Now you just need a plan to capture him. You have to be smart about this, and not just go running off. Lamos is a old wizard, so he is very wise and knows a lot. You can't just set any trap."
Domis smirked, his sword held tightly in his hands. "Oh, I know exactly what to do to capture that wizard. He better be prepared, because soon he'll be dead, and his head will be on a spike."
