The crunching of snow was heard as Lamos walked through a dark forest, a cloak wrapped tightly around him. "Its getting colder..." he breathed out to himself, breathing hot air onto his hands to warm them up. "I'm getting closer."

Lamos heard a branch snap, and he immediately span around, his wizard staff in his hands. "Who's there?!" he called out. His eyes searched the forest, seeing if he could see anything, but nothing was in sight. "Probably just paranoid," he mumbled. His staff vanished in his hands.

Lamos turned back around, as he continued on his journey, his breath getting heavy from the cold. "Almost there," he kept mumbling to himself. "Almost there." As he reached a mountain, he paused, catching his breath. "I just... need to climb it... then I'll be safe..."

The mountain was a huge mountain, bigger then any others in their world. The very tip of the mountain flew past the clouds, so you couldn't even see the full height. It was also very beautiful, the white snow shining with the partial sun out, which made it shine.

After Lamos's breathing slowed down, and he warmed himself up from his staff, he started to trudge up the mountain side, occasionally he looked behind him to see if anyone was following.

As he kept going up the side of the mountain, he suddenly felt an odd feeling in his chest. Like everything was about to go wrong, like something bad was about to happen. He tried to ignore the feeling, only focused on making it to the top. He knew he would be safe, if he could reach his destination.

Lamos continued to climb the mountain, getting higher and higher, the air getting thinner and thinner. He took slow steady breaths, and gentle steps. He finally reached a flat spot on the mountain, a cave opening on the side of the wall of the mountain.

As Lamos climbed up to the flat surface, he lifted his head to look up at the cave, but he paused, his blood ran cold and his face paled as he saw what was before him.

Domis stood in front of the opening to the cave, a devilish smirk on his face. He held a man tightly in his hands, a sword to the mans throat. "Hello, Lamos," Domis said, his voice full of spite.

Lamos stared at the man that Domis held, his eyes wide in horror as he saw the captured wizard. "D-dad...?!"
