What do you call it
when you're already home,
but still feel like going home?When the walls stand around you,
but don't hold you,
when the air is familiar,
but never warm.Is it because this place feels empty,
or because my heart is somewhere else?
Maybe home isn't a house,
but a feeling-
of being seen, of being safe,
of knowing you belong.But if that place doesn't exist,
then where do I go?
