I went to the bathroom, washed my face, brushed my teeth, and changed the pad as Rama had instructed me, then went out to the kitchen. The girls weren't in the living room so I thought that they must have woken up at night and returned to their rooms.

I looked at my watch to check the time again and it was now just past 7 am. Strangely the girls hadn't woken up yet and I haven't heard their alarms either so I grew a bit suspicious.

"Wait what's today?" I thought out load. I checked my phone again and it was Thursday. Which meant that I had a lecture at 2 pm and another at 4.

"Oh well, guess I've got all the time in the world now..."

I thought about going back to sleep but didn't really feel sleepy, especially with my stomachache. So I made a cup of hot chocolate and went back to my room. I sat at the desk and started revising and studying some of the stuff that I either didn't revise yet or didn't completely understand while listening to some calm music. This went on for 2 hours and a bit so it was around 9:30 at this point.

I started scribbling on my notebook and drawing some weird sketches just to pass the time. I put my earphones on my ears and raised the volume slightly and chose some calm songs to listen to. After a while I got a bit restless, I usually like to sing along when I have my earphones on, but I wasn't singing now as to not wake the girls up. So I shut the door and layed down on the bed and started singing quietly.

I was never good at singing, so I used to only sing when I was alone, with no one able to hear me, and only if I had both earphones on as to not hear my voice and ruin the song for myself. And that's exactly what I was doing. I sang along with some songs until I finally had enough. I sat up again and opened my laptop to play some games I had on it.

It was now 11:00, so I decided to go wake the girls up. I exited my room and found that both bathrooms were occupied. Which meant that the girls were awake now. So I thought of preparing breakfast. Or rather brunch. So, after making sure that they had pancake cyrup and other types of cyrup, I opened a pancake recipe I had saved on my phone and started preparing. By the time they were done with the bathrooms I had prepared the batter and started heating the pan.

Mackie was the first to get to the kitchen. I noticed her by the side of my vision.

"Good morning, had a a good night sleep?"  I asked without looking at her and while pouring the first spoon to make the first pancake.

"Yes, yes I had a great night thank you!" She came closer and put her hands on my waist gently and gave me half a hug, which I couldn't avoid because of the pan I had in my hand.

"Ummm... Is something wrong?" I asked clearly getting nervous.

"No.. I'm just happy because I woke up to a beautiful alarm today!" She said as she removed her hands and started preparing the dishes.

"Oh really? I did hear the birds today, they were loud but very lovely. It really was great!" I exclaimed.

"Oh no, something even more lovely... A Melody.. a song... A calming voice." She said clearly smiling at me.

"A..  a new alarm you put on your phone?" I asked reluctantly.

"Oh you know what I'm talking about! Your voice is amazing! I really had fun listening to you!" She said almost beaming with excitement. I blushed really hard and almost stumbled by my own feet as I was putting the first pancake on a dish.

"Umm.. I'm.. I'm sorry! I didn't know I was loud! I really am sorry!" I knew my voice was bad, but to wake her up? That's messed up. 'face palm'

"What are you saying? It was just lovely! And if you're worried that you woke me up then worry not, I had woken up just before you started singing. In fact I wanted to record your singing but-"

"But I beat her to it, I was leaving my room when you started singing, so I brought my phone and started recording! Your voice was very beautiful and soothing!" Rama interrupted Mackie but continued her sentence.

"St- stop with your baseless compliments and trying to make me feel better, I sound terrible and I know it!" I said as I put the second pancake on the dish.

"Well perhaps you'll change your mind if you listen to yourself." Rama said as she was fiddling with her phone. "Here, listen to this." She played the recording of my voice. She was obviously recording from behind the door so my voice was muffled. But it was still rather clear.

After a couple seconds or even minutes of me singing, I had to admit... Apparently, I sound nice while singing as a girl.

"Ummm... Okay... I don't sound too bad.." I admitted.

"Not too bad? You were great! Now I wanna listen to you sing more!" Mackie said.

"Sorry but that's not gonna happen now that I know you can hear me." I said.

"Oh come on! Don't say that! You should be proud!" Rama countered.

"I am ashamed and embarrassed!" I fought back.

"Relax you two, do what you like to do, there is no need to fear that we will judge your singing, and no reason to be forced to sing either. You do what you wanna do." Mackie said maturely. The pancakes were ready to be served now. So I put the dishes on the counter and the girls put them on the table.

The pancake turned out rather tasty, so that was a good plus. After we finished eating. We tidied up the table and the kitchen, Rama did the dishes and I headed to my room to get dressed for university and the girls soon followed suit.

One thing I noticed was that I wasn't feeling as bad as this morning. My stomach is much better. The only thing that's still lingering along with the mild stomachache is that I feel a bit exhausted and slightly dizzy.

I wasn't going to miss today's lecture despite my troubles, so I got changed to my male clothes after wrapping my chest tightly, tied my hair in a male bun took my face mask and practiced my sore throat voice again to make it seem as passable as possible.
