Sunghoon's Jake's long distance boyfriend. Jake lives is Australia and Sunghoon in Korea. They have been dating for four years now and love eachother deeply that they can give eachother's life for without hesitation. They never met each other in real life, only interacted through texts and video calls. Despite the distance they're very loyal which is rare at this time.

Today's valentine's day. Ik already special but to make it more special Sunghoon and Jake is meeting up for the first time. Sunghoon's visiting Australia just for Jake.

It's 4pm. And Sunghoon is so late Jake can't take it anymore, he can't believe Sunghoon would ditch him like that on Valentine's day. He had really high hopes for this day as they both wanted to spend all day together. Jake got up from the park's bench and left. Last time he talked to Sunghoon was at 2pm, he had been waiting ever since. He called him thousands of times and now Sunghoon's phone is switched stop. Jake lost all his hope.

He's broken-hearted, he really expected Sunghoon to at least show up but he didn't, he didn't even get a text message. People came and went by, but he's been sitting in that same park bench for hours.

Jake walked into a nearby restaurant and took a seat. He wasn't hungry but he just needed to do something to keep him distracted.

The restaurant had a news going on the TV, "A young boy died in a car crash at 2:05 pm today-" Jake didn't pay much attention until a gift box was shown on the TV found near the dead body.
It's the same gift box Sunghoon showd to Jake that he wanted to give Jake for valentine's day. It was supposed to be something special...

Jake's heart dropped. The gift box the reporter was showing on Tv looked all too familiar to him, he's seen it before.

Jake quickly took out his phone and went to the pictures he saved from Sunghoon. He scrolled up to find the one where Sunghoon showed him, that very same gift he showed him, which was currently on the news.

Jake's hand started shaking and he's heart started pounding furiously. He's in disbelief, this can't be happening.

He called Sunghoon again, but it's just one ring then it goes to voicemail. Jake is now panicking, desperately trying to call him again. "Answer, please." He mutters under his breathe. He's shaking and eyes staring wide at the gift box on the Tv. His thoughts are going all over the place.

Jake tries again and again, but it's all the same. The phone just keeps ringing before the voicemail plays and he couldn't even leave one. It's all in vain Jake knows, but he keeps trying still.

He stands up from the table, catching the attention of everyone in the restaurant and storms out. He's crying now, he doesn't care as he keeps trying to call Sunghoon over and over again.

He's outside now, going back to the park bench. He doesn't know what to do, doesn't know what to think or whether what he saw on the news is all true. It can't be. This couldn't have just happened. Why?

He kept crying uncontrollably, a bunch of people stared and some asked him if he's okay. He just brushes them off and sits back in the park bench. His eyes still staring at his phone, the screen was his screen lock wallpaper, which is Sunghoon's picture.

All of it just felt like one big joke. He was supposed to meet Sunghoon today, he was supposed to spend hours together cuddling and hugging, eating and walking around the city like lovers do. They were even gonna get a hotel room after. That's what was supposed to happen, but now it's all a big lie.
