Sunghoon walked around the crowded hallway, his heart still filled with the hope and excitement from his conversation with Heeseung earlier. He spotted Jake across the hallway, standing alone, and he decided to approach him.

"Jake!"

Jake immediately pulled his hoodie and started walking the other direction as if didn't hear him.
Sunghoon's heart sank as he saw Jake trying to avoid him. He quickly ran after him, determined to catch up.

"Wait, Jake! I need to talk to you!"

Jake paused turning to him with  disinterest, his arms crossed to his chest.

"Yes?"

Sunghoon took a deep breath, knowing this wouldn't be easy. He tried to keep his voice steady as he spoke.

"Can we talk somewhere more private? Please?"

"I don't have time for that, I'm getting late for my 'physics' class, so if you'd excuse me-"

Sunghoon's frustration grew as Jake made excuses to avoid him. He grabbed Jake's wrist, stopping him from walking away.

"Jake, please. It'll only take a few minutes. I really need to talk to you."

Groaning in annoyance Jake couldn't bring himself to deny,

"Fine."

Sunghoon led Jake to an empty classroom nearby. He closed the door behind them, and the room fell into silence. Sunghoon took another deep breath, trying to steady his nerves. He looked at Jake, who was avoiding eye contact.

"What now? Don't expect anything from me after that I spent one night at your place."

Sunghoon sighed, annoyance and frustration in his tone. He ran a hand through his hair, trying to find the right words to say.

"That's not what this is about. I... I just want to talk about last night."

"What about it?"

Sunghoon fidgeted with the hem of his shirt, feeling nervous under Jake's indifferent gaze. He took another breath before speaking.

"You left so abruptly this morning, and you've been avoiding me all day. I just wanted to talk about...about what happened between us."

...

"There is no us Sunghoon, I only spent the night because I felt bad."

Sunghoon felt a pang of hurt in his chest at Jake's words. He knew it was going to be tough, but he had to keep trying.

"That's exactly what I wanted to talk about. You say there's no us, but is that really how you feel? Or are you just trying to convince yourself of that?"

Jake looked a bit taken aback by that. He didn't expect Sunghoon to quistion something... Intelligent?

Sunghoon noticed the brief surprise on Jake's face and felt a slight glimmer of hope. He took a step closer, his eyes not leaving Jake's.
