Transformer oneshots (Mostly Oc's)

Nika wasn't sure how she got into this situation. One minute, she was trying to avoid getting caught in the crossfire of a Decepticon battle, and the next, she was being dragged through the corridors of the Nemesis by none other than Predaking himself.

He finally came to a stop in a dimly lit chamber, releasing his hold on her but blocking the only exit with his massive frame. His piercing optics bore into her as he crossed his arms.

"You flee from me."

Nika gulped. "Uh... yeah? You're a giant fire-breathing dragon, and I have a very reasonable survival instinct."

Predaking huffed, the air around him growing warmer. "You are mine to watch over."

She blinked. "Wait-what?!"

He took a slow step forward. "You are a strange creature, unlike any other. Your mark-your presence-is unique. I will not allow harm to come to you."

Nika felt her mark heating up and glowing. She quickly slapped a hand over it. Judging by Predaking's pleased expression, he definitely noticed.

"So it reacts to emotion," he mused. "A useful trait."

"It's embarrassing, actually," she muttered.

Predaking's optics gleamed with something unreadable. "You need not hide from me. You are under my protection." His voice lowered to a rumbling growl. "No one will take you from me."

Nika had no idea how to respond to that. But judging by the possessive way he loomed over her, she wasn't going anywhere anytime soon.
