Chapter Thirty-One

"You're not?" Blair questioned with a sadness. "Come with me, let me show you a true pirates life." Killian said. Blair looked down at her cloak, all she knew was this kingdom, she only knew land. Bu she smiled at the thought of her finally being with her dad. "Okay. Just give me a minute."

Blair walked over where Belle, Baelfire, and Cyrus were. "I'm leaving. Again. My entire life I was the puppet to the Dark One, and with him gone I have nothing to tie myself to this place." Blair said.

"Why are you telling us, you could have just left." Cyrus said.

"Because what I did to the two of you all those years ago was an asshole move, I knew how you two were with your family and I abandoned you, I just thought I should tell you guys this time." Blair said, Belle hugged Blair. "Stay safe."

"I always am." Blair glanced at the boys who just lost their father. "See you around."

Blair turned around before walking away, it was then she truly knew the trio that was once Bae, Cy, and Blair was truly broken. But maybe it was for the best.

"And here I thought you'd gone and changed." Charming said as Killian got on the horse. "I tried the hero thing. It didn't take." Killian said.

"Hero's life isn't for all of us." Blair said getting on the horse next to him.

"So that's it? Emma's gone and you're gonna go back to being a pirate?" Snow said walking up to them.

"Back, my lady? I've always been a pirate." Killian said.

"Pirates better than a puppet." Blair said and they were off to go find a ship.

Cyrus watched as they rode away, he didn't know how to feel his mind was still processing losing both his grandpa and his father, of course he didn't like one but he still went out a hero. Cyrus spent years never understanding why his father left, why Blair left, how Bae's life turned out. Maybe now was time to finally figure it out.

"What Hook said just now, about all of our stuff being brought back here, that true?" Baelfire asked.

"What are you looking for?" Charming asked.

"I was thinking, maybe we could stop by my father's place on the way to the Queen's castle." Neal suggested.

"Neal I know you're hurting, but Rumplestiltskin is gone." Charming told him.

"Maybe. Maybe not. And if he's not, maybe he can get me back to Emma." Baelfire said.

"Bae, papa's gone." Cyrus said.

"Neal, he's right it's impossible. regina was clear the price of our return was a complete reset. No more portals. This is our realm for good. There's no way to cross over, not without another curse." Snow told him.

"We have to move on. This is our home now. Now, know you miss them. So do we. But even if there were some way to get to them, they wouldn't remember us. The best thing we can do for Emma and Henry is the only thing we can do. Let them be. And know we gave them their best chance." Charming said and Baelfire walked off, Cyrus walking after him.

Killian and Blair rode next to each other, she was still trying wrap her head around being back, she was a key in the dark curse and because of it she spent her entire life trying to help enact it to get away from everything. But, here she was riding back into the enchanted forest with her dad.
