Hailey pov:
I was in chemistry with Jake, and he had changed partners since he stoped being friends with drew.

"Please miss I'll go with anyone!" Jake begged. "Looking at you two boys reports..drew you will be fine going with anyone however Jake you will need to find someone who will help you." The teacher sighs, drew gives Jake a smirk as he rolls his eyes.

The teacher turns back to the class "students..please put your hand up if you would be willing to partner up with Jake Sterling here." The teacher announces.

A large amount of girls hands shoot up. "Gosh jakes ego must be going through the roof.." I whisper to Luke. "What you jealous?" He grins "omg shut up."

Jakes eyes Scan around the room before staring at me "miss could I please go with Hailey?" He asks

"O-oh but I'm with Luke so-" I begin "I'll go with Sadie!" Luke announces getting up and walking away.

Great.

"Okay that works out, Jake go with hailey, Luke go with Sadie and Stacy and drew you can work together." The teacher says before going back to the board.

Jake walks up to my table before sitting down "hey princess, seems like you didn't wanna be in my group?" He whispered while the teacher began to talk "w-what? No of course not- I mean of course I wanted to be in your group but I didn't wanna offend Luke and um you know...uh it could get...complicated?" I mumble "uh huh uh huh.." he laughs. That stupid laugh. How on earth did I fall for someone with that laugh and how did I find it cute?

I go back to writing notes and soon class ends.

"Hey Hailey wait up!" Jake yells as I turn to leave the class room, he was gathering his books off the table.

"Jake why is your side of the table so much messier then mine?" I laugh. "Umm not sure-" he says finally ready to leave.

We begin walking out and to our next class together. "Oh is there any chance you were free after school? I need help for the upcoming test and you always get such good grades!" He asks. "Oh uh...well you know- I'm not a great teacher um... but like I could try to help!" I say sounding unsure. "Thanks hails!!" He grins.

We begin walking out of school with Luke and Zander in front.

The couple were holding hands and leaning into each other. "Wow you have to third wheel them every day?" Jake chuckles looking at them.

"Uh huh! Actually some days they just leave me..." I frown "ah you should walk with me! I live quite close anyways! Plus, I feel awfully bad that you have the third wheel constantly.." he laughs

"Jake...no offence but you are late to school 80% of the time" I mumble. "Well yes... but if we walked together then I'll be better with time!!" He says sound excited.

"Maybe we can think about it?" I smile.

Finally, we get to my house and I unlock the door for the others.

"Mum! We are home!" Zander yells.

"Oh hi kids! Nice to see you Luke and Jake!" She smiles waving to them.

"Both got their boyfriends with them huh?" Dad whispers just loud enough for us to hear.

"I-I umm how about we go to my room?" I stutter dragging Jake away.

We get to my room and I shut my door quickly.

"Haha umm sorry about my dad!" I laugh awkwardly. "It's Fine! I like your dad he's cool, plus he was a singer too!" Jake grins.

I sit on my chair while Jake sits on my bed. "Sooo... proms comming up! Are you excited?" he asks excitedly.

"Yeah I guess! Still don't got a date tho-" I sigh.

He chuckles grabbing his books out his bag. "Are you going to ask anyone?" I ask soundly quite unsure.

"Mmm maybe? Not sure if I should though" he stops to smile then continues grabbing stuff out his bag.

"How about you?" He asks. "Uh well...I'm not sure.." I mumble. "It's fine! Yk many people go without dates!"

"Ohh did you hear that apparently Henry and Liam might be going together?" Jake laughs.

"Omg really? Are they dating? I always kinda thought they had a thing for eachother!" I laugh.

"Um are they still talking to you?" I ask, spinning around on my chair.

"Yeah they do sometimes! Not drew but I think Liam and Henry are okay! It sort of seems like they are separating from drew, I'm not sure." He says flipping through his book.

"Okay anyways, here we can swap seats, um what do you want to begin with?" I say changing the topic.

Me and Jake swap seats. "Uh section 23?" He asks.

"Okay sounds good!" I say nodding.

Jake pov:

Studying with Hailey was actually going pretty well, to be honest she was a great studding buddy.

As much as she was a good teacher, I was still becoming slightly bored.

"Princess can we please have a break this topic is going to fry my brain!" I groan.

She chuckles "okay.." she taps the bed, gesturing for me to sit with her on her bed.

I get up and shut my books before falling onto her bed while laughing.

"Gosh that was a good study sesh!" I laugh. "Jake you can't be serious I study like that on most days!" She says sounding partly shocked.

She laughs looking at me and I accidentally catch her eye.

It goes quiet and we just look at each other before I cough accidentally which breaks the moment "u-um anyways!" She laughs.

I've been thinking of asking Hailey to prom with but I just couldn't find the right time..maybe this could be the time?

"Hey hails?" I ask which gets her attention back.

"Um...uh" I stutter. She looks at me confused. "I was sorta kinda maybe wondering if uh..." my voice trails off and Haileys eyes meet mine again.

"If what?" She asks softly.

"If you by any chance wanted to go to prom with me?" I mumble, still looking at her.

"W-wait actually?" She asks, sounding like she was laughing.

"Y-yeah? Only if you want to, if you don't want to then that's okay!" I grin softly.

"Yes! Of course!" She laughs with the biggest smile ever.

She hugs me and I wrap my arms around her tightly.

"Aree we gonna match?" She grins.

"Of course!" I say grabbing my notebook to write ideas.
