"SHITTY JOB AND SHITTY CUSTOMERS." you clicked your tongue in frustration, stomping down the street with your hands shoved deep into your pockets.

your face was twisted in irritation, eyes focused straight ahead, completely oblivious to the way pedestrians flinched and scurried away as you passed. your scowl alone was enough to send them into a quiet panic, but you didn't notice—too busy fuming over what had just happened.

some dumbass at work thought it'd be hilarious to pull a prank on you while you were on duty. they loaded up the counter with an absurd number of items, making you scan every single one, only to suddenly step away, claiming they needed to take an urgent call.

you let them go, but your gut told you to keep an eye on them. minutes passed. they didn't come back.

irritation clawed at your patience, and when you finally stepped outside to look for them, they were gone.

your jaw clenched, fists tightening as you muttered curses under your breath. seriously? they just left? you were ready to hunt them down when something caught your eye—a hidden camera nearby.

marching over, you checked the footage, and sure enough, there they were, grinning into the lens.

"it's a prank!"

the moment those words left their mouth, your vision went red.

"dumbass! i'm not playing with you, pay for those shits or i'm breaking your neck!" you snarled, grabbing the prankster by the collar, your other fist already cocked back, ready to introduce their face to your knuckles.

unfortunately, before you could land a well-deserved punch, your boss arrived, rushing in to defuse the situation.

they quickly pulled you off, forcing you to stand there as the idiot explained themselves. apparently, it was all for content. they wanted your reaction for views, and—oh, don't worry—they were totally planning to pay after recording the video.

your eye twitched.

your boss, sensing the impending explosion, quickly told you to take a break and cool off before you did something that would land you in trouble.

and that's how you ended up here—storming down the street like you owned it, each step heavy with frustration, muttering curses under your breath.

tokyo's streets had seen chaos before. but today, with your foul mood and devil-like glare, even trouble knew better than to cross your path.

you do not plan to go home, you don't have anything to do there and you'll just get yourself bored. you'll just go and take a stroll until you finally cool down.

"stupid people," you muttered under your breath, shoving your hands deeper into your pockets as you turned the corner.

your brows furrowed the moment your eyes landed on a familiar figure.

sanzu haruchiyo stood there, silent as ever, surrounded by four guys in gang uniforms from some no-name group. you couldn't make out their words, but their laughter was loud and taunting, while sanzu remained eerily quiet, simply watching them.

your steps slowed. he wasn't saying anything, wasn't reacting—just standing there. they were picking a fight.

without a word, you crouched down and picked up a small stone from the ground, tossing it lightly into the air before catching it again. with a flick of your wrist, you launched it straight at them.
