I stepped into the hallway, only to find myself staring at the same doorway I had just walked through. My brows furrowed in confusion as I took another step forward, expecting to reach the exit, but instead, I found myself exactly where I had started. A hallway with the same dim lights, the same small television sitting on a wooden desk, and the same silence that pressed down on me like a thick fog.

"This is creepy..." I muttered under my breath.

I tried again. Same result.

A loop.

The fourth time I walked through, something changed. Faint writing scrawled itself onto the walls, ink bleeding across the wallpaper. At first, it was a single word: "Again?"

Then, the words multiplied, phrases overlapping one another as the dim lights flickered. The walls were whispering now, or maybe it was just the blood pounding in my ears. I swallowed hard, my fingers tightening into fists.

The seventh loop. The small TV in the center of the hallway blinked to life, static flickering across the screen. The white noise buzzed, filling the corridor with a strange, uneasy energy. And then, on the next pass, all the writing vanished-except for a single phrase, scrawled in jagged letters:

"It's here."

I barely had time to process it before I saw them-the knives embedded in the walls, fresh blood splattered beneath them. My breath hitched, my stomach twisting into knots.

And then, I saw her.

A small figure, barely reaching my waist, standing just outside the window. Tiny Mita. Her head tilted slightly as she watched me, unblinking. My fingers instinctively went for my flashlight, switching it on just as the TV abruptly cut to black. My heartbeat thundered in my chest as the shadows shifted, revealing something horrifying.

A creature, all jagged limbs and gaping maws, lunged at me.

I barely had time to scream before its spider-like limbs gripped my shoulders, yanking me upward. Its serrated jaws tore into my flesh, and I felt my head separate from my body. There was a moment of weightlessness, a strange, detached awareness as I watched my own body collapse to the floor.

It was too fast..

For me to react-

And so I was greeted by the darkness that has swallowed me.

I woke up.

The hallway.

The same hallway.

The same loop.

My body trembled as I forced myself to stand. The realization settled in like a heavy weight on my chest.

This was my new save point.

I guess, my hopes of being able to return back to the kingdom to where my Emilia tan is-

No no no...

I still have to go-

Kind Mita and cappie trusts me with me

I have to do this-

I clenched my teeth and pushed forward. The corridor remained the same until I reached the window. A sudden crack shattered the silence as the glass burst inward, a baseball bat landing at my feet. I hesitated for only a second before gripping it tightly, the wood firm beneath my fingers.

The thirteenth loop was different. The air was thick with the sound of chittering, clicking mandibles scraping against each other. The spider creatures returned, their glitching forms shifting unnaturally. But this time, I was ready.
