CODE : SURVIVAL (BTS X READER)

The clicking sound grew louder, each step reverberating through the tunnel like a ticking countdown to something terrible.

Then, it stepped into the light.

A figure-no, a thing-stood at the mouth of the tunnel. It was humanoid in shape but all wrong in every possible way. Its limbs were too long, its head tilted unnaturally, and its fingers... its fingers twitched as if eager to grab something. Or someone.

Its skin looked stretched too tight over its bones, an unnatural grayish hue that seemed to pulse under the dim lights. The creature's mouth was a jagged, unnatural grin, splitting its face in half. But the worst part? Its eyes-or where its eyes should have been. There were none. Just empty, hollow sockets, like a doll abandoned for too long.

Then its head snapped toward them with a sharp, jerky motion.

The air turned electric.

A terrible silence fell over the group.

Then-

"Run," Y/n whispered.

The thing twitched. And in that instant, it moved.

BOOM.

The ground beneath them shook as it lunged forward, its speed inhuman.

Jungkook was the first to react, shoving Jimin aside as the thing's clawed fingers slashed through the air where he had been standing just a second ago. The force of the movement sent Jungkook stumbling backward.

"WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?!" Jimin's voice cracked with sheer panic.

"GO!" Namjoon barked, grabbing Taehyung and yanking him forward.

The creature let out an ear-splitting screech, something between static noise and metal scraping against glass. Y/n barely had time to process it before she turned and ran.

The others were already sprinting down the tunnel, the dim lights overhead flickering ominously. The train tracks stretched ahead, endless and suffocating. There was no sign of an exit.

Behind them, the creature screeched again.

Y/n barely had time to process the numbers flashing in her vision. The timer had started.

Her heartbeat pounded in her ears. Thirty minutes? How the hell were they supposed to survive for thirty minutes with that thing hunting them?!

The tunnel itself seemed to breathe, the walls vibrating with an unnatural energy. Y/n felt it-the game was watching. This world was shifting, adapting.

The ground trembled beneath their feet.

"FASTER!" Seokjin shouted.

"IT'S GAINING ON US!" Jungkook added, voice frantic.

Y/n forced herself to move faster, legs burning as she pushed forward. She had read this part. She knew what was coming.

Up ahead-

The tunnel forked.

A sharp split-left or right.

Her mind raced. Left leads to-

"LEFT OR RIGHT?!" Seokjin shouted.

No time to think.

"RIGHT!" she yelled.

Namjoon barely hesitated, leading the charge down the right tunnel. Just as they turned the corner, a sickening crash echoed behind them.

The tunnel they had been running through collapsed.
