The next class was math.

Tang Tang felt fortunate that, just like before, she was in a liberal arts class. If it had been a science class, she would have been completely lost.

In a liberal arts class, English and Chinese wouldn't be too difficult, and history and politics weren't too urgent. The only headaches would be geography and math, especially math.

Tang Tang recalled that her high school math grades were decent. On the 150-point college entrance exam, she scored 120. During her senior year, Tang Tang had been extremely busy, spending the first half of the year on set filming and the second half studying like crazy. When her final exam results came out, she scored 40-50 points above the local top-tier university cutoff, which was far above the arts college entry requirement. At the time, the internet was full of praise for her.

However, while she had managed a score of 120 back then, now she doubted she could score even half of that. It had been almost ten years, and she couldn't even remember the formulas for ellipses and hyperbolas.

By the time she entered the class, all the material had already been covered.

The daily routine was now just doing and reviewing practice problems. As soon as the math teacher came in, everyone pulled out their completed assignments from yesterday.

Tang Tang looked at her blank exam sheet and stared at the first question, which asked for an interval range, for half a minute before resignedly pulling out her Math Essentials 1 textbook.

She had forgotten everything—even the symbols for open and closed intervals were a blur.

The math teacher, an elderly man on the verge of retirement with thick glasses, was enthusiastically explaining the problems on the board. After a while, he noticed that the student in the back row had been sitting with her head down the whole time.

He was instantly furious. No one in his class had ever dared to so blatantly ignore his teaching!

He slammed the desk and angrily pointed at Tang Tang. "You in the back row, stand up!"

The whole class, suddenly energized, eagerly turned to look.

They all knew the math teacher's temper well. No matter how wealthy your family was, if you didn't pay attention in his class, he would roast you. And the teacher definitely didn't recognize that Tang Tang was a celebrity.

Tang Tang was about to get scolded—how exciting! Some of the girls even secretly took out their phones, ready to record the moment.

Tang Tang was startled by the loud slam of the desk, and only realized the teacher was yelling at her after he spoke. She obediently stood up.

The math teacher looked at Tang Tang, ready to reprimand her, but when he saw her face, he hesitated.

He didn't recognize her.

Where had this student come from?

Suddenly, the teacher remembered that Ms. Liu had mentioned a new student joining the class.

But new or not, the rules were the same. While his initial anger subsided slightly, he still frowned as he addressed Tang Tang, "You're new, right? Even if you're new, you need to listen in class. Why are you sitting there with your head down?"

Tang Xin couldn't hide the smile creeping onto her face.

Tang Tang had no place at a prestigious school like Chengda, with her poor grades and lack of skills. Coming here was just inviting humiliation. She

probably didn't want to pay attention, so she was playing on her phone instead and got caught by the teacher.

Though she didn't want to be in the same class as Tang Tang, watching her get embarrassed in front of everyone made Tang Xin feel satisfied.
