,,Well hello there, aren't you the king i heard so much about?" the blue cookie sat up with a flirtatious smirk on her face, closing the book.

Vanilla stared back at her, seemingly lost in her eyes, before snapping out from it and smiling awkwardly. ,,Not really a king but i suppose its me. Its nice to meet you Mrs...?"

,,Blueberry Yogurt Cookie" She smiled somehow already standing right in front of him with her hand outstretched. That name.... probably a coincidence. The kids below just stared confused.

,,That's a Very nice name! My name is Pure Vanilla Cookie" Answered the healer shaking her hand.

,,Oh i know very well who you are,  not every man can get my attention" she said eyeing him up and down.

,,Oh! Umm... thank you very much for the compliment... i think?" He just smiled, not really knowing how to answer. How could he? He never had an interaction like that, even when he traveled around all earthbread, his friends were always the addressees of these kinds of compliments.

,,Mrs Blueberry?" They both looked down, seeing Fondant Cookie (the boy from the day prior) pulling at her dress.

,,What is it sweetie?" Ashed the woman, kneeling down to him.

,,Can you read us more of the story?" answered the boy pointing at the book in her hands.

,,Oh! Of course! I'm so sorry for forgetting! The king probably has to attend to some important business, so lets not hold him up." She looked back at Vanilla before sitting back at the barrel.

,,Actually, i will gladly listen to some stories too. I've never seen this book in my life, so it may be interesting." He smiled sitting between the children, seeing them immediately use his robes like blankets and cushions.

,,Oh REAL- *cough* really? That's so nice of you....handsome" She seemed to be thrown out of her game, before regaining her composure.

*(SWITCH TOO SHADOW MILK PoV)*

Well that went downhill fast.

Candy Apple did an amazing job with his disguise, that he had to admit! He felt surprisingly comfortable in the body, so much so that he may give his minion more creative freedom next time. Black Sapphire did an amazing job too, creating a character he could play with no problem, and writing him these fake stories. And so a persona of an Cookie, that traveled to the Vanilla kingdom in search of a place to call home, a beginner magician (in case he would accidentally use magic), and thanks to he pretty face, he could also mess with vanilla trying to flirt.

The plan was to tell kids stories that would seem innocent at first, but would over time help paint Vanilla as a bad cookie. Stories about a king, who acted all nice to people in his own, but was secretly poisoning the water supply, and other similar ones. He could not read them i front of VANILLA of course, HE WOULD SEE RIGHT THROUGH THAT DISGUISE!

Time to improvise then?

,,Well with a crown like that i may choose a different story" He smiled calmly, while ,,flipping" through the pages, in reality changing the words on the paper. Thinking of a story so fast would be almost impossible for him so time for plan B. Black Sapphire had a whole bookshelf with stories for Candy Apple so what was left is to just copy it into the book... One of the ones with no death maybe ;-; . ,,Oh! This one might work"

ahem

In a distant kingdom, there was a village lived a dragon. The dragon terrorized the people of the village, and threatened to attack the castle. The kin terrified, decided to send his most loyal knights, but none of them could harm the dragon, coming back traumatized. The ruler had a daughter, a beautiful and kind princess, loved by all in her kingdom. The princess wanted to try to defeat the dragon, and without much of a choice, the king agreed. 

When the princess finally got to the dragons den, the monster instantly started to breathe fire and attack the girl, but to their surprise, the princess instead of running away or fighting like everyone else, calmly walked to them an hugged their scaled claw.

,,Your'e hurting aren't you? People hurt you, right?"spoke the princess looking up at the dragon.The monster looked down at her shocked, hesitating what to do. ,,It's ok now, i will not hurt you." she hugged the claw even tighter.

And that seemed to be the exact thing the dragon needed. The scaly monster transformed into a handsome cookie, hugging back the princess, with a warm smile.

And so, the attacks on the kingdom stopped, the king welcomed the dragon in their kingdom,and let him spend eternity with the princess and even to marry her. Happy and at peace.

Ah! Is the story that was supposed to be about a frog at first, Shadow Milk remembered closing the book. ,,How did you like it?"

,,I want to marry a dragon too!!-" bolted to her feet the little girl, tripping on the kings robes in the process. Luckily the pretty lady cough her.

,,Heh, maybe you will be able to someday. Dragons aren't my personal interest, so if i meet one, i will surely take them to you." Smiled brightly Blueberry Yogurt Cookie.

The healer still sitting on the ground giggled at the expression of pure joy on the little girls face. ,,Alright, maybe we should take you back home?" he ashed noticing some dark clouds gathering above them.

,,Nooooo! I don't wanna!" whined the little boy clinging to Vanillas robes, who was now trying to get up.

,,Well i would be all for it, but it's not fit for a king to get wet... and anyway i think i have to go for now." commented the blue cookie no crouching next to Fondant Cookie.

,,Okay..." mumbled the little boy, taking his sisters hand.

When they reached the orphanage, it started to rain. They waved back to the kids before walking out. 

,,Well, i must be off my King, hope you enjoyed my company" bowed the blue cookie.

,,Of course. Thank you for the time spent together." Smiled the king turning to leave. ,,Oh and hope to see you tomorrow Shadow Milk"

,,Yeah see y- WAIT WHAT?!"

kinda lost motivation while writing that story about the dragon, it had like 9 versions TnT

But hope you all liked it T-T

[Also, should i change my publications time? cause where i am its at 7 am.... but i realized that it is like... 3am in america.... so my time of posting chapters might slightly change]
