Broken By My Bully

The room is quite. Wrapped in stillness of night.

Siddharth lay beside her, fast asleep, his face finally free from storm he always carried. His black hair slightly messy, his breath deep and steady. His arms around her waist, holding her close even in sleep, like his body refused to let go, even if his heart still hasn't forgiven her.

Avneet couldn't sleep.

Her eyes stayed wide open, staring at him in pale moonlight.

She reached gently to touch him. Just a feather light caress on his cheek. Her fingers trembled.

"How do you still love me like that?"
She whispered, her voice breaking.

"After everything I did- After the way I hurt you?!"

A tear slid down her cheek. She didn't bother wiping it. It feld deserved.

"How did someone like you even fall for someone like me?" She whispered.

"I was awful Siddharth. I was everything you didn't need in your life. You could've loved anyone! Anyone better- But you still chose girl like me."

She exhaled deeply.

!!FLASHBACK - SIX YEARS AGO!!

It was bright afternoon in college campus. Loud music playing from speakers. Students were hanging out in groups- gossiping, playing, taking selfies. College entrance filled with shallow laughter.

The crowd parted like water as she walked in- Heels clicking on ground, hairs rising and falling in waves like even air followed her. She walked in like she owned the place. She wore a short designer skirt, a cropped top and sunglasses she didn't really need.

Everyone turned to look. They always did.

She smirked, flicking her long hair back. She loved the attention, craved the power.

Two girls followed her like sidechicks. She didn't even remember names of half of students she smiled at. She walked towards basketball court. Confidence oozing from every move.

She walked towards one jacked boy. The boy looked stunned. He was hitting on her since last few days.

"Hey Avneet..." He said. He was so flustered. Avneet smiled and let him kiss the knuckles of her hand.

Avneet was now sitting on his lap. Laughing and letting him whisper things in her ear. His hand around her waist, pulling her closer.

Her legs across his lap. Her red lips intentionally brushing his neck as she giggles into his ear. His hands wandered too high.

He leaned in to kiss her and she reciprocated. The kiss filled with lust, the hunger... Her breath heavy. He started kissing her neck and going down and down. But she turned way with smirk. Her fingers on his lips stopping him.

"God you really thought I would let you have me just like that?!" She laughs.

He blinks confused. The crowd gone quiet.

"I am bored, not desperate." Sliding off his lap with a smirk. "Thank you for entertainment."

But then she leaned in again,
"If you really want me that much Meet me at Starlight hotel tonight. And don't forget to bring the stuff. I will take care of your useless tiny cock if you bring him. You know who I am talking about right." She whispered in his ear. And kissed his cheek before leaving him hot and edged.

Laughter exploded around him. His face turned red. And she walked away without care.

Just then,

A tall quiet walked in the college building. He wore blue jeans and Black hoodie. He carried a old worn backpack. His hair little messy and jaw chiseled and clean shaven. His eyes were unreadable but intense.

Air shifted when he walked in. Not because he wanted attention- But because it was impossible not to notice him. There was something about his silence. He was calm. Like he didn't belong in this hasty lifestyle. And he didn't care to fit in.

Avneet eyes locked into his for second as she walked out and he walked in. One long stare.

Her lips curled. Not with interest not yet, just little curiosity.

Amusement.

He didn't even stop to look at her. He just walked past the crowd heading towards the admin office.

But she watched him. She watched him leave till he faded.

"Who's that?" She asked.

"New guy I think. He looks quiet type." One girl says.

"New toy?"

"He is cute." Avneet says.

"Can you believe he ignored you Avneet? The attitude?!" Other girl says.

Avneet's lips curled into smirk.

"Maybe he didn't look at me. No one dares to ignore Avneet Kaur."

"Let's see how long it takes to break him."

She had no idea back then... How much she will really break him or that he would be the one to break her.

"Get me his schedule." She orders.

"But you wanted Faisal Sheikh right?!" Her friend asked confused.

"I am Avneet Kaur the heiress of the Oberoi group, I am daughter of one of the richest man in the world, I can get every guy I want. It will be their honour that I am even looking at them. Be it Faisal or this new boy toy I can get them both." She replied.

"And if you want to stay in this college and graduate keep that ugly mouth shut. You are my maid's daughter right." The girl nodded.

Avneet started laughing. "And yet you dared to question me? You really must want to end up in street. Like you should be thankful I even let you go college with me and let you do my errands." Her tone more like threatening.

"I... I... Am really sorry ma'am. Please forgive me. Please don't punish me or my mother." That girl drops on ground Begging for forgiveness.

"Fine... Fine....get up. Stop embarrassing me. Go and get me my coffee." She said kicking her away feeling disgusted.

She walks away without a care leaving crowd chuckling behind her.
