Lexi was carefully scanning the shelves for something simple—anything to distract her—when she suddenly walked straight into someone.

"Oh! Sorry," she gasped, looking up into familiar eyes.

"Lexi," Harry said, surprise softening into something warmer.

They stood awkwardly for a moment, the hum of the grocery store fading around them.

"Harry," she managed, her voice barely above a whisper.

Before either could say more, Sam appeared from the next aisle, giving them a curious look.

"Well, this is a surprise," Sam said with a grin.

From behind, Paddy's voice called out, teasing but gentle. "Thought you'd be hard to miss."

Lexi turned to see him leaning against a cart, smirking.

Then Nikki and Dom appeared, pushing their trolley slowly down the aisle.

Nikki's eyes lit up at the sight of Lexi. "Lexi, dear! It's so good to see you."

Dom nodded, his expression steady but kind.

Harry stepped a little closer. "How've you been holding up?"

Lexi took a deep breath, grateful for the familiar faces, especially Harry's. "It's been... a lot."

Sam chuckled softly. "Understatement of the year."

Paddy winked. "We're here if you want to talk."

Lexi gave a small, hopeful smile. "Thanks. That means more than you know."

Lexi was standing close to Harry, the comfort of his presence grounding her amid the awkwardness, when the sliding doors of the grocery store swung open.

Tom stepped inside, carrying a basket, his eyes scanning the aisle.

His gaze landed on the group — Lexi, Harry, Sam, Paddy, Nikki, and Dom — and everything seemed to freeze.

Tom's breath caught.

For a long moment, no one spoke.

Then Harry cleared his throat, breaking the silence.

"Tom," he said quietly.

Tom swallowed hard, his eyes locking on Lexi's.

She looked away, heart pounding.

Paddy shifted awkwardly.

Nikki stepped forward, her voice gentle but firm. "Tom, Lexi's back."

Dom nodded.

Tom's face tightened, emotions swirling beneath the surface.

He took a slow step forward.

"Lexi," he said, voice barely above a whisper.
