Is it over or not |T.H|

Lexi stumbled through the front door of her mum's cozy London house, cheeks flushed from the booze and the sting of everything that had just gone down. Her heels dangled from her fingers, and her makeup was smudged but her heart was heavier than her limbs. The night had ended in chaos—Tom, the kiss, the bruise he didn't know he grabbed—and now all she wanted was silence and a bed.

The house was still. Her mum was off on a short trip with a friend, which Lexi welcomed. She didn't need questions. Not tonight.

She'd just kicked off her shoes when the doorbell rang.

She frowned. It had to be Harry or Haz checking in on her. Maybe even Tom.

Still, her stomach tightened a little.

Lexi crossed to the door and swung it open casually.

And froze.

"Miss me?"

Liam stood there. Smiling like this was some kind of sick joke. Like he hadn't followed her across the ocean from New York. Like he hadn't ruined her piece by piece and left her scared of her own reflection.

Lexi's breath caught. "What the hell are you doing here?"

He didn't answer. He just stepped forward.

She tried to close the door—but he shoved it open with his shoulder and forced his way inside, kicking it shut behind him with a loud thud.

"You left me," he hissed.

Outside, across the street, Nikki Holland was walking Tessa. The late-night air was cool, and she was about to turn toward their driveway when something caught her eye.

Lexi's front door.

It had slammed shut—but not in a normal way. Nikki could see Lexi's face for a flash before it disappeared behind the door.

And it wasn't casual. It wasn't happy.

It was horrified.

Tessa whined at Nikki's side. Nikki immediately pulled out her phone and called Harry.

"Hello?"

"Harry, sweetheart, who's at Lexi's with her?"

"Uh—what? No one, we all just left—she went home after the bar, why?"

Nikki's voice tightened. "A man just walked into her house. She looked terrified."

Haz's voice broke in on speaker. "What kind of man?"

"I don't know—tall, dark hair—"

Haz swore. "Liam."

Everyone on the call went still.

And then—

A scream.

A scream so raw, so animalistic, it chilled Nikki to the bone and echoed through every open phone line. Tessa barked and started pulling toward the door.

"Oh my God," Harry said.

"Call the police!" Nikki shouted down the phone

Nikki didn't hesitate—she dropped the lead and rushed toward the door.

Haz, Paddy, and Sam were all shouting over each other through the phone.

"MUM?!!"

"NIKKI WHATS GOIN-"

And then—

The call cut out.

Sam and Paddy were at the dartboard, Haz leaning over to Harry with a smug grin, mid-wingman whisper. Tom sat apart, nursing a drink he hadn't really touched, eyes occasionally flicking toward the door.

Then Harry's phone rang.

He checked the screen and stood up instantly. "It's Mum."

"Answer it," Haz said, already sensing something off in Harry's face.

"Hello?"

"Harry, sweetheart, who's at Lexi's with her?"

"Uh—what? No one, we all just left—she went home after the bar, why?"

"A man just walked into her house. She looked terrified." Harry, Haz, Sam and Paddy looked at each other. Tom was getting another drink to drown out what had happened 20 minutes earlier.

"What kind of man?" Haz asked trying to think of who It could be

"I don't know—tall, dark hair—"

Fuck, Thats all Haz could think "Liam."

Everyone just thinking What the Hell is going on then they heard a scream over the phone

"Oh my god" Harry was rushing to get everyones stuff together and went to get Tom.

"Call the police!" Nikki shouted down the phone

Haz, Paddy, and Sam were all shouting over each other through the phone.

"MUM?!!"

"NIKKI WHATS GOIN-"

And then—

The call cut out.

Harry run to Tom telling him to get his shit together.

"Harry, leave me be for 5 minutes please?"

"No you ass, I just got a called from Mum somethings wrong  at Lexis house"

Tom shot up. "What? Whats happening?"

"Her Ex Liam just showed up, Mums just ran into her house after hearing her scream and she told us to call the police"

Tom got up and they both ran to the boys and left.
