As the saying goes, until you face it directly, even the most obvious threats can be dealt with.
However, following Beelzebub was the agile Elio.
With Beelzebub attracting all the attention, she effortlessly delivered fatal strikes.
Her two crimson swords cut through the more fragile Sky-Splitting Lizards just as easily.
Together, they slaughtered every Sky-Splitting Lizard in their path with frightening efficiency.
Even when faced with larger groups of Sky-Splitting Lizards, they could lure them out and take them down in coordination with the crossbow fire from the rear.
Acting as the spearhead of the formation, the two of them bore more than a third of the forward assault pressure, quickly quashing any adventurers with ulterior motives.
One clearly possessed high-level peak combat strength!
The other, though seemingly only mid-level, was shockingly destructive.
Besides wielding high-level magical weapons,
Their entire outfits were at least mid-level enchanted gear.
Everything about them screamed wealth.
Their gear alone would make any high-level adventurer green with envy!
Aside from them, the mysterious arcanist trailing behind also drew many astonished gazes.
Schroder blinked in surprise, recalling the information his family had gathered:
"Compared to Lord Matthew, who can be clearly identified as a mid-level arcanist, Bay Territory's other mysterious arcanist is even more powerful!"
"With a vast mana pool, rapid spellcasting, and remarkable endurance in battle!"
"He's particularly fond of using Fireball Spell to eliminate opponents and has a deep understanding of the spell."
"His skills in brewing potions and crafting magical items are exceptional—I suspect the Vitality Potions come from him."
"He and Lord Matthew are very close; it's likely a teacher-student relationship, making him an even stronger version of Lord Matthew!"
"He also has a penchant for fighting on the front lines, with extensive combat experience..."
All the gathered data painted this arcanist as highly dangerous!
Schroder found it hard to accept, being a member of the Arad family.
He knew well the differences between high-level spellcasters and other professions.
In most kingdoms and regions, high-level spellcasters could hold an advantage against other high-level professionals, though they sometimes stumbled.
But in the Netheril Empire, such mishaps were impossible.
As the ruling class, spellcasters had far too many ways to enhance their power.
Most importantly, the resources available to high-level spellcasters were a hundred, even a thousand times greater than those of other professions.
It was these advantages that made spellcasters so powerful and their dominance so unshakable!
The mysterious arcanist in front of him was clearly armed to the teeth.
His arcanist's robe was undoubtedly high-level magical gear!
His Five Fireball Staff, the same as Lord Matthew's, was also high-level gear!
Just these two items alone were worth tens of thousands of gold coins!
Together, the three of them were practically a walking goldmine!
To other adventurers, this level of wealth was unimaginable!
Even most noble scions couldn't afford such luxurious equipment, even with family support.
But it wasn't just wealth—the arcanist's strength was also impressive.
What made Schroder even more uneasy was that this arcanist, despite being a ranged spellcaster, was boldly leading the charge.
He wasn't a madman, so that meant he must have absolute confidence in his abilities!
Schroder believed it was the latter!
A madman wouldn't have survived this long...
Moreover, every spell the arcanist cast was perfectly timed.
He shielded Beelzebub with a Mana Shield just before a strike.
He cast Haste on Elio, making her already lightning-fast movements even quicker.
When faced with a large group of Sky-Splitting Lizards, his combination of Web and Fireball Spells had wiped out over a hundred of them along the way.
The three of them alone had the fighting power of an entire hundred-man adventurer team.
The sheer scent of gold they exuded made every adventurer envious.
Everyone quickly fell in line.
When they heard that Bay Territory was gradually opening up sales of enchanted weapons and gear, many adventurers couldn't help but feel tempted.
Even though they knew this was Bay Territory's way of showing off, they all had one thought:
"Of course, we'll forgive them!"
