Naina looks down in her lap as a smile appears on her mouth, "I wouldn't have run away."

"Why not? You tried once." He says.

"That was when you locked me up in that house just after we had gotten married. You didn't even let me get to know you before you went out on the trip alone." Naina says as she throws her hands up in the air.

"I was an asshole." Rudra says making her chuckle.

"You were." She agrees with a playful smile on her lips.

A knock on the door brings their attention back to the room. A nurse opens the door and walks inside with the doctor.

"How do you feel now, Mrs oberoi?" The doctor asks.

"Better. I do feel some pain while moving." Naina explains.

"That's quiet normal after giving birth." The doctor's says, "It will get better eventually."

Naina nods her head. She wish to the freaking lord that it gets better.

"I'm here to talk to you about kiaan." The doctor says.

Both naina and Rudra's ears perks up at the mention of their son.

"What about him?" Naina asks.

"He is ready for his first proper feed. We gave him formula when you guys first brought him in because you were barely conscious but I need to know if you want to breastfeed him or should we continue the formula?" The doctor asks.

"I want to breastfeed." Naina says without even thinking. "I feel too full." She says motioning to the fullness of her breasts.

Doctor smiles gently at her and says, "Nurse will bring him in so you could feed him. Usually it is a little painful in the beginning but eventually it gets better as you feed. Nurse will assist you." Doctor explains.

Both of them ask her few more questions before she leaves the room.

"How is mom?" Naina asks rudra.

"She is fine." Rudra answers without looking at her as he adjusts the blanket around her.

She is not fine. The reason why it is only the two of them in hospital right now is because the aftermath of last night has been anything but calm.

Rudra's father is cleaning the mess they left at the manor last night. He is also arranging for a funeral for Naina's father, not that he deserves one or anything. Rudra's mother is with Naina's mother who is inconsolable. Surbhi is trying her best to be there for her mother but everything is just bad.

Rudra is doing his best to create a happy atmosphere in this hospital room for naina and their son.

"It is still unbelievable." Naina says. "I am finding it hard to register everything that happened last night."

"It is shock. It will get better with time" Rudra says.

"And whatever he did to those girls is so disgusting. I can't believe it." Naina says.

Since yesterday she is getting shocks after shocks. Rudra told her about her father and what he did to all those girls. He told her about the evidence they had in that disk which would have helped them take him down.

"He got what he deserved." Rudra says.

Naina nods in agreement. She can't deny that statement. He did deserve to die after everything he did. She can't even imagine what he would have done if her sister hadn't pulled the gun on him. Just thinking about him shooting rudra makes her shiver.
