The Malhotras

The two days had passed and these were the most stressful days for everyone. Aditya was silently taking care of Advait's every need but not talking to him normally. If Advait would have asked something then he answered and that was it. He hadn't said a word to him on his own. He was upset with him as he was taking stress and handling everything alone when he could just go and tell the truth to Abhishek. Abhishek was on the other hand giving Advait a cold shoulder. He wasn't talking to him thinking it would instigate Advait and he would agree for his and Roohanika's alliance. Shreya was watching everything but she was helpless. She had talked to Advait but he refused to tell her anything and manipulated her with his flirting skills. Arush was the only one who was happily living his life oblivious to the tension in the family.

Abhishek and Roohanika met yesterday with each other and the moment Abhishek looked at her he engulfed her in a tight hug. Roohanika sighed in relief knowing Advait hadn't told him anything.

Now, Abhishek was on leave. He wasn't willing to go to the office. He was sitting on the couch scrolling in his phone with an absent mind. When his phone ringed up and he picked up the call.

"Sir, Koi aap se bahar milne aaya hai." The guard said.

"Kaun?" Abhishek frowned.

"Roohanika Raichand." He replied.

Abhishek stood up from the couch in a shock, "What?" He said.

"Don't let her come inside. I'm coming." He said while walking out of the room.

He searched the living room for anyone and went outside of the house. Roohanika was standing at the main gate, a smile crept on her face as soon as she looked at Abhishek.

"Abhi!" She ran to him and hugged him tightly.

The guards were looking at them with the surprising looks but looked down when Abhishek shot them a glare.

"What are you doing here, Rooh?" Abhishek asked in a hushed voice while looking around for anyone.

"Tum to kabhi humari shaadi ki baat karoge nahi islie mai khud aa gayi humari shaadi ki baat karne." She replied.

"What?" He snapped.

"What?" She raised her brow.

"I mean, tumhe yahan aane ki kya jarurat thi, Rooh. Mai bhaiya ko mana raha hoon na maan jayenge wo." He said.

"Tum kab se yahi kehte aa rahe ho par ab tak unhe mana nahi paaye." She said with a tired tone.

"Dekho Rooh, tum yahan se abhi jao hum dono baad me milte hain hm." He said in a scared tone while looking around.

"Tum itna dar kyun rahe ho?" She asked irritatingly.

"Tum samajh nahi rahi ho. Agar bhaiya ne tumhe yahan dekh liya na to....

"To kya?" She cut him off, "Mai yahan unse baat karne hi aayi hoon aur unse baat kiye bina kahi nahi jane wali." She said stubbornly.

"Aise mat karo please aur abhi yahan se jao." He requested.

She stepped forward and cupped his cheeks looking straight in his eyes, "Tum mujhse pyar karte ho na, Abhi?" She asked.

He nodded, "I love you, Rooh." He replied.

"To bas phir aaj baat karne do mujhe tumhare bhaiya se aur hum dono mil kar unhe manayenge to wo maan jayenge." She said.

Abhishek was looking at her hesitantly but reluctantly nodded his head. Roohanika went inside and Abhishek followed her behind, taking deep breaths.

"Kaka, bhaiya aur bhabhi ko bula layein please." Abhishek said to kaka.

Kaka nodded his head and went to call Advait and Shreya. Abhishek was nervously standing there, his palms were sweating in fear. Roohanika noticed it and assuringly held his hand.
