On the day of Rakshabandhan...

Inaya came early to get Ruhi ready for her first Rakshabandhan.

Ruhi seems excited about a new dress, hairstyle, celebration, and last gifts. This is her first Rakshabandhan ever. The brothers got ready and sat in the living area waiting for their sisters.

Anirudh: Dadi, Ankita masi isn't receiving my calls. I don't want this Rakhi without her.

Shalini (sighed): She said she will be in the UK for a week.

Anirudh: Masi is hurt. That's why she is avoiding us. Dadi, sorry but Masi comes first for me. Since my first Rakshabandhan, she has never let my wrist go empty. I will go and meet her.

Saurav: I will also go with bhaiya, dadi.

Vidyut: Me too!

Ajit and Veda (Ajit's wife) heard their words. A proud smile wrapped around Ajit's lips.

Before Shalini could respond or they could leave.

Harsha, Mihika, Inaya, Ruhi and Khushi came out after getting ready.

Ruhi ran towards Vidyut.

Ruhi (twirling): How am I looking?

Khushi went in front of Anirudh and twirled looking at Ruhi.

Vidyut (smiling): So pretty but a little less than me.

His words, shocked her and she stopped in front of him. She glared at him.

Ruhi (Huffing): Boys don't look prettier than girls.

Vidyut narrowed his eyes at her.

Inaya (smirking): That's why I call him- donkey.

Ruhi (nodding): Yes yes... he is my older brother. So, I can't call him a donkey.

She pouted, complaining.

Everyone chuckled around. Khushi too giggles, though she doesn't get the meaning, but what's wrong with enjoying!!

Vidyut rolled his eyes. Ruhi pouted.

Just then, Ankita walked in with a little boy who seemed to be 2-3 years older than Ruhi.

Anirudh (grinning): Masi...

He quickly walked towards her. Saurav and Vidyut followed him. Boys hugged her tight.

They broke the hug.

Saurav: Are you hurt? We are sorry-

She smacked on his chest.

Ankita: Why will I be hurt? I am not. I took a little more time in accepting everything but I am proud of my boys. I took a bit more time, but I can also understand. It's not easy. Also, don't worry. She is my family too. Like you all.

Vidyut smiled widely and pecked her cheek.

Ankita: Let's celebrate.

The boys nodded, and they moved towards the sofa.

Everyone greeted Ankita and the boy.

Ankita (looking at Khushi): Khushi looks pretty.

She held her close and kissed her cheeks, performing a bhalaiya by revolving her fisted hands around Khushi's head to ward off the evil eye.

Khushi (giggling): Yuhiii... Dadiii...

Ankita saw Ruhi with a small smile.

Ruhi (joining her hands): Namaste.
