Chapter 17- It Takes Two To Tango
Emma's POV
I was positive that the boy that did all of those things to me had to be Liam. It also had to be him that had been texting me from that blocked number.
Who else could it have been? who else would have had access to my room or my phone number like that?
Now that Liam was living here with us, he had access to both easily.
I decided after a long while that I should probably go ahead and talk to him about it.
I got out of bed to finally get some breakfast and saw Liam eating some cereal as I got some for myself.
Realizing that we were the only two people downstairs, I sat down next to him with my cereal and decided it was now or never.
"Liam, we need to talk." I said quietly.
My voice seemed o surprise him and he turned his head towards me quickly, his mouth full of milk and cereal as he mumbled, "Mhm?"
"I've been putting it off," I started quietly and paused before continuing," but I really think we need to talk."
"About?" He questioned, waiting for me to continue.
"About the other night."Liam's POV
I was sitting downstairs, in the kitchen, eating some breakfast when I heard someone coming down the stairs.
Emma came up and sat next to me and I continued to eat my cereal in order to try and distract myself from her.
She started talking so quietly, I almost didn't hear her.
"Liam, we need to talk."
My mouth was completely filled with cereal and milk, so it was all I could do to let out a muffled, "Mhm?"
"I've been putting it off," she said oh so quietly again, before getting a bit louder, "but I really think we need to talk."
I started to get a bit worried and confused as I questioned, "About?"
"About the other night." She finally said after several seconds of silence.
"About what happened between us..." She continued.
Thoughts were racing through my mind after she said this.
Maybe I was wrong, maybe she did know about what happened with us, even though I had thought she was too drunk to remember.
I felt that all I could do was apologize for this.
"I'm sorry." I said looking into her eyes.
"Why?" She questioned, staring back at me.
"Well..." I trailed off, choosing my words, "I feel like I took advantage of you a bit."
She took a moment before answering.
"Well," She said, the appearance of a small smile showing on her face, "I guess you could say it takes two to tango."
