Save the World before you Save Yourself

This will be a short chapter guys I will probably update later today or tomorrow. But just enjoy this short chapter for now @-@

Percy pov

"Jason Grace I swear to gods put me down right now," I had my eyes shut as tight as they could go but I still felt the unnatural feeling of being weightless and so far in the sky. It wasn't natural. I'm a fish out of water, literally.

Jason laughed. " we aren't even that high up you know," he said while shifting his hands so he would be able to hold me longer. I was not being cooperative.

"You know, if you keep flailing I'm going to drop you."

I open my eyes, seeing an all to familiar reddish tint. "No. You are not going to drop me. I'm not falling again." Anger burned my stomach.  I tightened my grip so hard my knuckles turned white and the skin around his arm began getting a red hue.

He faltered a bit in the air before he cleared his throat. "Sorry," he mumbled.

"Yeah," was all I managed. My eyes closed again am my head began to swim. "Put me down."

"But you're still going to tell me what was going on down there. Piper had one of those looks and you were obviously avoiding her. What happened? Is it why you weren't at breakfast?" He peppered me with questions.

I had to think of something, quick. It was hard to think behind my mind screaming out me down down down this is not my domain in going to die. I pushed my panic away and swallowed.

"Put me down, Jay, and I'll tell you."

"Fine," he said in a defeated voice.

He didn't make me swear on the river Styx.

He began to lower us and the unnatural feeling came back. I gripped his shoulder tightly and shut my eyes. My hair was flying around. Probably in his face.

When I could tell we were about to touch the ground, he said,"Ok. Almost there then you can tell me."

We touched the ground.

I sprinted off.

Percy has good plans.
I put the smarter than he looks thing in there because it's true. I hate how people portray him as stupid and childish(although this wasn't the best way to avoid a problem,hey he was in the air what was he going to do ?)
