After having spent a day by the beach we stopped our small break and continued on to Perth.

I hadn't told the others yet, but I'd had something planned for this stop for a while now and I couldn't wait to see it happen.

"You better be ready," I shout, full of anticipation. "I've got something big planned for today!"

Meg jumps out of the bus with a huge smile plastered on her face.

"Oooohh," she squeals giddily, her hands clasping together while her whole body just about shakes in excitement. "What is it?"

"I can't tell you just yet," I tease with a smirk. "We have to wait for Joel."

She groans in response, throwing her arms down beside her and tipping her head back. Just as quickly as she'd gotten into that position she was out of it, snapped up tall and running back to the bus.

I listen to her yelling at Joel to hurry up, and burst into a fit of laughter as she drags him out of the bus by his collar.

"What is it?" She asks again with eyes like a puppy's. It concerns me how often I find myself comparing Meg to a dog.

I try my best to suppress my giggles, but still hold a smile on my face. Joel stands next to Meg pouting with his arms folded.

"We're going to right into the heart of the city," I drag my words out to watch the look of impatience on Meg's face grow.

Joel sees what I'm doing a cracks a smile as he continuously glances at Meg.

"What for?" She asks impatiently. Joel gets an evil look in his eyes, the same as when he made us watch Insidious just a few days earlier.

"I think it should be a surprise," he says mischievously. I nod along frantically.

"Good idea, Joel." We both start laughing as Meg groans again and drops to her knees.

"I can't take the anticipation," she wails. "I need to know!"

"Well then get up and let's go, so you can find out," I say with humour still lacing my voice.

She huffs in response, nods curtly and finally stands up. We have to walk from the camp grounds to the city, the whole while Meg both complains about not being able to hold in her excitement much longer, and throwing around guesses of what might be planned.

I'm silently glad that it is so sunny today, and I didn't have to try and convince them to both wear sunnies (because let's face it, that would sound very suspicious).

We arrive at our destination, which I'm silently even more glad that it's the one place in the city to have shade. They both take off their sunnies, and I couldn't possibly hope for a better coincidence, because just as they do I see a fan spot them.

She's sat with another girl at a table in the outside dining section of a cafe. There are no meals or drinks on their table, only a big set of speakers.

I give her a small smile and a nod, only faintly hearing Meg asking (yet again) what we were doing.

"Sit, sit," I say with urgency, flailing my arms around in the general direction of seats. The two of them look at me confused, but follow my instruction regardless.

I pull out my phone and press video record just as loud music starts to fill the area. One of Joel's songs.

The two girls at the table get up and start dancing. Meg gasps and clasps her hands over her mouth, while Joel sits smiling. I glance around and spot at least 5 other people recording.

As the girls dance more and more people start to join in. The whole routine is choreographed, everyone knows what they're doing and exactly where they're supposed to be, but that doesn't stop it from seeming spontaneous.

To goers by it mightn't look like this has been in planning for weeks, but I know it has. After all it was me who started it.

It started when I first tweeted out about the Joel and Meg Tour; I started creeping on people's Twitters to find fan pages. From there I sent them direct messages to gather up anyone who would be in Perth for the concert, and told them to spread the word about a flash mob.

I didn't expect the reaction to be this huge, but as I sit watching the space around us become filled with people dancing I can't help but smile at how amazing the ones who run fan accounts are.

In reality it wasn't me who started this, it was them. I may have posted out an idea, but they were the ones to make it happen.

When the song finishes everyone cheers, all their hard work finally paying off. But the party doesn't stop there; another song starts to play and almost instantly everyone's back dancing.

Meg stands up smiling, pulling Joel and I up with her, and we make our way into the thick of the crowd.

We all dance and dance, and it's the most incredible feeling to be apart of something so huge.

When everyone is worn out we let the music play on as Joel and Meg take pictures with every last one of the girls and guys who turned up.

I sit watching the smiles on all of their faces, knowing just how genuinely happy they must be to be meeting their favourite singers. It's not something I haven't seen before though. I saw it happen with the two girls on the bus, with Luke.

That day seems so distant, even more so with my being on the other side of the country. I can only imagine how much Luke has changed already since I've been gone, but in my memory he's still the same.

I miss him, present and past him, I even miss future him.

Despite the waves of people surrounding me, at the thought of Luke, I'd never felt so alone.

A/n: I know you have to go to YouTube to watch the video attached, but it's so worth it. It is literally my favourite thing and it always will be wow.

Also, just warning you now, the next chapter is really bad. It's not poorly written (at least I hope it's not), there's just bad things happening, so watch out!
