Your POV:
You all stood there together, in the centre of the airport. No one was speaking, no one could. It was hard to come up with the right words to say before saying goodbye to such good friends, even if it was just for a few months.
"Where will you be going Leorio?" Gon asks, breaking the silence.
"I'm going to go and cram for my entrance exam for medical school. Now that I have my hunter's license, I can afford the tuition." Leorio says proudly.
"You'll make a great doctor, Leorio." You say to him sincerely. He reaches a hand own to you, pulling you into a side hug and smiling down at you.
"Thanks, Y/n. That means a lot."
You pull away, wiping a stray tear from your eye, "Next time I see you I expect you to be the best doctor in the whole world!" You state.
Leorio sighs and pats your head, "It'll take me way more than a few months for me to get my degree, let alone become the best doctor. Many years actually."
"Okay fine, " You huff, "Then next time I see you I expect to hear you enrolled in that medical school you're applying for."
"Will do." He says, pointing a finger at you and winking. You smile brightly at him and turn to Kurapika.
"I still plan to keep that promise of helping you find the troupe that took away our families." You say determined.
"You know you really don't have to." He says awkwardly avoiding Killua's glance.
"Don't give me that Kurapika. I made a promise and I intend to keep it. Just call me when you need me and I'll be there a soon as possible. I do have my own stuff to do, but I'll keep you up to date with what I find on the troupe, okay?" You say and Kurapika just nods with a light smile on his face.
"W-Wait, your own stuff?" You hear Killua say from behind you. You turn to meet his eyes and send him a confused look.
"Ya, my own stuff." You say, pretending to be insulted, "I have a life too you know."
"No, I know that." He says, looking disappointed, "I was just hoping you'd join Gon and I in training. You know at Heaven's Arena."
"Ya, Y/n! Please come with us, it'll be more fun!" Gon say hopping over to you.
"I guess I could meet up with you guys after." You say hesitantly.
"What are you planning to do anyways?" Leorio asks.
"I'm going back home. I told the butlers I'd be back, and it's been years since I've seen them."
"Are you sure you can go back by yourself? I mean, after what happened..." Kurapika asks, not wanting to finish the thought.
"I can go with you!" Killua suggests, "Gon and I can go with you for a few days and then we can go to the arena together after."
"No, I'll be fine on my own." You conclude, "Also, you guys really need to start training soon, if Gon ever wants to be able to punch Hisoka back."
With that every one nodded wiht agreement, Killua seemed to do so, unwillingly. You really wanted to take him with you, but you had to be reasonable. They needed all of the time they could get to train, and you could see them later. Also, it's been awhile and it was time for you to go back, to finally be strong enough to accept that your parents were gone and that all you had left of them was the house. It was something you had to do alone.
