Manipulated (Killua x Reader, Sequel to: The Split String of Fate) ~ On Hiatus

Your POV:

"Man...It's so creepy walking around here at night..." You complain silently to yourself, "Maybe I should've waited for Zushi's match to finish so that I could walk to Master Wing's residence with them."

You walk with your hands buried in your pockets to keep warm towards Wing's residence. When you reach the place you knock on the door. The lights are on, but no one answers the door.

"He's probably in the middle of training Zushi." You take the spare key from under the welcome mat and let yourself in. You walk towards the living room where all of the training happens. You hear Wing's voice trailing out of the room.

"Nen means to burn your own souls." Wing says. You freeze in your spot. 'Why on earth would he be teaching Zushi what nen is again? Didn't he cover that a long time ago? Maybe he got new students!' You creep slowly towards the living room and peek in. You look into the room and see two familiar figures and you instantly trip backwards and slam your back against the wall behind you. Your eyes widen in shock. 'What are they doing here?' You ask yourself.

Someone turns into the hall your in and you freeze, "Y/N, are you alright?" You breath a sigh of relief upon seeing Zushi turn the corner.

"Shushh..." You hiss at him and beckon him to crouch down next to you and he listens, "What are Killua and Gon doing here?"

"You know each other?" You nod, "How?"

"It's a long story, just tell me why they're here?" You get up to peek into the room again and half listen to what Wing was saying. 'He's lying to them...'

"Master Wing took them in as his students." Zushi whispers to you as he peeks over your shoulder.

"If he did, why is he lying to them about nen?"

"He is?" Zushi walks back into the room and you stay hidden behind the wall.

"I'm going to kill you Killua." Was the next thing you heard come from Wing's mouth and your eyes widen in horror. All of a sudden Wing releases a bone chilling aura. His Zetsu, it gave off the feeling that he was about to kill. You watched helplessly as Killua's eyes widen, and no matter how hard you tried you couldn't release your ten. "What's going on?" You whisper to yourself, "Normally I can use my ten when Wing uses his Zetsu like this."

No! Go away! You hiss at the voice.

I'm just helping you for your own good.

You're doing this?!

It's a shame really. You've been doing a good job staying away from him, then low and behold he comes himself.

"Stop screwing with my head!" You shout as you fall forward into the living room.

"Y/n?" You look up to see Wing staring at you in concern, "I didn't know you arrived. Are you alright?"

"Y/n!" Gon calls as he begins to skip towards you. You quickly scramble to your feet and bolt out of the residence, but not before turning to look at Killua. He was clinging onto the wall int he top corner of the room, no doubt in attempts to get away from Wing's Zetsu. He stared at you with his beautiful blue eyes, but they were filled with confusion and sadness. You turned away quickly, your feet moving against your will. You wanted to see Killua, you wanted to hug him, to be with him, but for some reason you couldn't. Your mind wouldn't let you. So you continued to race back to the Heavens Arena to the sanctuary of your room.
