Leorio and Kurapika were the first to leave, since they were taking the same plane. You gave them both tight hug, wished them luck and a safe trip. You held back your tears as you watched them leave and Killua came up beside you with his had around your waist.
"I really wish you'd let me go with you." He says, "I know you can handle it on your own, going back. But I want to be there to support you, to protect you if something happens."
You turn to face him and bent down slightly to plant a kiss on his cheek. You still had a couple inches on him, but he was getting there, "I'll be fine. You need all the time you can get to train and just getting to my house from here is a three day trip by train. I'll be calling for my family helicopter to pick us up, but there's only space for me and the pilot." You say sadly, "Maybe another time, you could come and see my house, but we've got a deadline to meet and different goals to achieve."
He nods sadly and pulls you into a hug, "Gon and I should leave now, to catch the train." You nod as small tears started to prick at your eyes, "Be safe, and keep in contact." He says.
"You don't even have a cellphone yet." You tease, even though ti was true.
"Right," He sighs, "Well then, you know where we are. If you call the arena, you should be able to get a hold of us once we have a room."
With that you separated. You gave Gon a tight squeeze and then they were both off on their own way. You stood there silently screaming for all of your friends to come back, you missed them all so much already. After all you've been through together, it was like they were your family. They were the only family and friends you had, and you weren't going to see them for months. You took a deep breath in and let it out. You were going to see them again, and that's what matters. You turned away and walked out of the airport, calling for the helicopter.
"Mistress Y/n, is that really you?!" You sighed upon being called 'mistress'.
Being called that and master, was really awkward after not having been called that in a while, "Yes it's me. Do you mind sending the helicopter to my location? I'm at the Republic of Padokia Airport."
"And for what reason, may I ask, do you need the helicopter, Misteress Y/n?" The butler asks.
"Just Y/n, is fine." You say, "Send it over as soon as possible, I'm coming home."
...
About a day later, the helicopter arrived, and you boarded it at the airport You stayed at another hotel before the helicopter arrived, but this time it was a cheaper, more reasonable hotel. You swung open the door to see a familiar face, however it seemed to have aged, it was more chiseled and mature.
" Brad!" You cheer happily upon recognizing him, he smiled down at you from his seat and nods.
"It's wonderful to see you again Ma-, I mean, Y/n." He says awkwardly. Last time you saw him he was around nineteen, now he had to be in his early twenties, "You've taken your time to come home."
"Ya well, I did get lost a few times." You laugh, and he joins in. He was always like your older brother in your eyes, and you missed him dearly.
"You've grown up to be such a beautiful young woman." He says, pulling you up into the passenger seat. You blush, being embarrassed.
"Don't say stuff like that, it makes you sound like a fifty year old uncle talking to a five year old."
He chuckles and starts the engine, "Forgive me, but it the truth. And to be fair, the last time I saw you was when you were five. You've grown up a lot since then."
