Easy enough...

It was so easy, maybe too easy. I rubbed my chin feeling some stubble, I wouldn't have expected him to send her to earth, not after her encounter with Nessa. What were they doing? Too many questions floated in my head. Taking in a deep breathe I peacefully sat on a bench watching the scenery, little fluffy clouds floated in the clear blue sky. A sudden thought stood out from the rest demanding attention... I was the predator and that silly little girl was my prey. She was too broken to fight me, too little and scared. Lucifer's pathetic little mate was mine. I would undoubtedly get away with this evil act, for I was the big boys best fighter. I was a god on my own! Lucifer could have had this power, but he let his greed and love get the best of him. I crossed my arms behind my head as I got comfortable on the empty brown bench, with a full view of my surroundings, I shifted my sword slightly so it didn't dig in. I waited in the silence.

Who falls to the earth for a demon? An ugly one at that! She was a mundane looking creature, plain and simple. That was Nessa, poor girl thought she was the one. Either way she met an equally disturbing end, trying to kill Lucifer's true mate. The thought running round my mind was, would he have fallen for Sapphire like he had Nessa?  Sapphire, well she was a goddess, strong, powerful and most of all beautiful. With her long black hair curled slightly at the ends, her red blood eyes and a porcelain face. Her mortal appearance was equally ravishing, blonde shiny hair and the bluest blue innocent eyes, reminding me of a clear sky on a summers day.

Lucifer didn't deserve such a masterpiece of human creation. Innocence. That was a word that summed up Sapphire.  God truly did create innocence, all of it poured into one girl.

She was asleep at the moment, curled up on the floor of the dungeons. I knew this as I had a guard report to me every half hour to make sure that she didn't escape. She wouldn't get very far that's for sure.

"I wonder..." I spoke to nothing in particular, just voicing the words in my mind. I stared out at the scenery, blue sky's and green grass. The sun beat down gently, to anyone else they would find the heat slightly uncomfortable with the armour I had to wear. Even in heaven we had rules. God didn't know of the crime that was being committed in his mighty dungeons, nor the fact that his best guard was plotting against Lucifer,  breaking the peace between heaven and hell.

The torture for Sapphire would hurt her, but it would hurt Lucifer more knowing he would not be able to save her unless he agreed to my conditions, it would even hurt him physically as he would feel every painful thing I inflicted upon his mate. I smirked evilly and got a few stares from a long ago dead couple walking by through the meadows. My blonde hair shimmered in the light and the soft breeze comforted me, appearing even more as an angel of God.

Don't get me wrong I loved heaven, but it could be so much more, so could hell. My plan was unbreakable. Remembering the way Sapphire screamed and tried to run from me sent another smirk to my face. The pure confusion and terror on her face was priceless. The scene was so clear in my brain, such a funny little creature she was. I still had to find out exactly what she was... she wasn't human that's for sure.

The way she tried to shut the door and keep me out was a failed attempt. The way she tried to fight the spell I had cast was amusing. Then the way she finally dropped to the floor in a heap, unconscious so that not even Lucifer could locate her...

What's going to happen next??? I just wanted to say thank you for being amazing and for all the reads votes and comments! I couldn't ask for better readers. I'll update on Sunday, see you soon!
