"Yaayy!! Hope! Gabby! Woo!!"

"Congratulations!"

"WELL DONE!!"

Congratulatory remarks skittered down the hall the next day. At first me and Gabs welcomed it, waving, laughing and grinning. But really soon, we just got a headache. We had free period all afternoon, so we had nothing better to do. But when Gabby ran off to get away from the baying crowd, I was at a loss! I could only think of one place to clear my head.

As i reached the top of the stairs, I pushed the door open on the 'Roof Door' sign. I stepped out into the sweet breeze. I skipped round the corner so I wouldn't be disturbed (teachers didn't really like students to be up on the roof, but they didn't really mind). I went to the edge of the roof and sat down. I sighed, breathing in the fresh air, and leant back so I could lie down. My skirt wafted about but didn't reveal anything, which I was thankful for.

As I lay there, relaxed, I thought of the people who had recently entered my insane life. Rob, with his dark brown hair and dark chocolate eyes. Ellie, beautiful with her cascading red hair and eyes like a peridot jewel. Alexi, petite, graceful, raven haired and golden eyed... finally, Renzo. Ohh Renzo. Beautiful blonde hair that way quite dark, yet glowing; almost as if it were honey. Those magical emerald cat eyes and curious smile. He was so.... so... impossible to figure out! I sighed.

A couple of minutes later I felt my self giving in to sleep. Not really taking anything in, I felt myself being held closely. Someone had lain down beside me and put their arm around me. I snuggled into it, half knowing nothing was there and half hoping I didn't look like an utter nutter. The warm thing inhaled sharply, surprised at me. It then lay it's cheek on top of my head and sighed. I gave in to sleep but became vaguely aware I was being moved.

"Well good morning!" The sunlight pricked at my eyes as I rolled over, yawning.

"Wha...t...?" I stretched opening one eye a little. "Ren!?" I squeaked as he smiled. "How long have I been asleep?"

"I don't know." I eyed him suspiciously. Renzo gazed upwards from where he stood.

"Did you see anyone up here? I thought I was being hugged in my dream..." He snorted and patted my head.

"I've been here about two minutes, I don't know." He had a cocky look on his face.

"Mm." I sat up. "Why are you out here anyway?"

"Same reason you are." He sat next to me and patted my head again.

"That's annoying."

"What? This?" He patted my head again. I nodded, a little feebly I thought. H patted my leg. "Get used to it." I thought over this.

"Get used to that." I ruffled his hair nonchalantly.

"Hm." a smile tugged at his lips. Glancing down, I saw Beck and Ellie sitting on a bench next o the fountain.

"Are they gonna sit there all day? Jesus." I picked up a small stone and threw it at them. It hit their bench. "ooh, close." I picked up a slightly larger stone and threw it at them. It got closer and hit the back of the bench. I picked up a large stone and lobbed it. Nothing. "Hey where'd it..?"

Ren held it and tosed it from palm to palm before putting it on the ground next to him. He glanced at me. "Seriously."

"What?"

"I can't believe," He pushed his lips together, as if thinking back over his words. "That you're going to do this."

"Do what?"
