"SLUMBER PARTY!" A voice shouted as they came through the front door. We all looked up from our conversation to see Emily and Ava walk into the room with the dogs barking at them, before Brook shushed them. We all cheered and they sat down next to us on one of the sofas. The living room was an open-plan, with the kitchen just on the other side of an island to one side. There were three different sofas, which faced a large flat screen above an open fire, each varying in the shade of blue, which tied with the colour scheme of the walls, which was off-white with a blue tinge. Each wall had pictures or painting of some sort, but they were mainly family portraits, featuring Brook, her parents and a girl with big glasses, brown hair and a gap-toothed smile, who I assumed was Brook's little sister. Even the dogs were included in some of these shoots.

"So, now that we are all here and as the first slumber party of the year, I have taken it upon myself to tell you all that we will, if I dare say it, pulling an all-nighter." Brook breathed out, dramatically, making me roll my eyes at her.

"Fine by me, but Lucy might not make it!" I tell them, resulting in a scoff from Lucy.

"I can make it!" She retorted, with her arms folded.

"Pfft! I'll believe it when I see it!" I say to her.

"So, what shall we do first?" Amanda asked us all from next to Brook on the opposite sofa to Lucy and I.

"I don't know; what do you guys want to do?" Brook questioned. We looked at each other blankly, waiting for someone to suggest something. It was then that I got a text, the ringtone signaling it was another 'Creeper' text. Dammit! I looked over at Brook and Amanda, who were both staring at me wide-eyed.

"Not today! I wanted to get through this evening without them texting me!" I breathed out angrily, and then got out my phone and opened the text.

"What is it Key?" Lucy asked me, looking slightly worried.

"Nothing for you to fuss yourself over." I told her, before looking down at the picture that had been sent to my phone. On my screen was an image of Lucy and I after we hand gotten out of the car only minutes ago. I threw my phone at Brook and Amanda, before exhaling heavily and rubbed a hand over my face.

"How could they possibly know you were going to be here?" Brook contemplated.

"Don't ask me about the mind of this Creeper, I will never know." I said, still frustrated.

"What are you looking at on your phone, Ava?" Emily asked, making me frown.

"Oh, I just got a message from my mum, I had to text her back." She stated blankly, causing me to relax a bit.

"Give me back my phone, let's just leave it and have fun! That's what we're here for!" I stood up and took the phone back, put on some tunes, and then grabbed Lucy's hand, pulling her up and swinging her around to the music. Amanda and Brook joined us, laughing at my awful moves. Emily and Ava were laughing at us from the sofa, but didn't join in. I pulled Emily up and dragged her into a badly performed slow dance, which made her laugh, but join in with our dancing. Emily dragged Ava up as well. She was reluctant at first, but then caved and began pulling some cool dance moves.

After a while, we collapsed down, all out of breath and still laughing from the spontaneous dance off. Brook decided we were going to be cliché and was by the TV, about to put on a chick flick.

"What do you want to watch? I have Netflix, so pretty much any film is available." Brook said, using the remote to login to her Netflix account.

"How about 'How to Lose a Guy in Ten Days', it's a classic." I suggested and everyone agreed. Only Lucy, Emily and I had seen it, but we didn't mind watching it again. Once it started playing, Moose and Yak both came into the room and jumped onto a sofa each, one of those happening to be Lucy's and mine. These dogs were like flipping bears, so the one that had gotten onto our sofa took up most of the room and we were crushed underneath its fluffiness. We didn't need any blankets because they were heaters in themselves.
