Chapter 29

"For our master!!" Both vampires sneered as they charged after defenseless Yuki.

"BIG SISTER!!" You cried out.

"What should I do? Those vampires are going to take Yuki away!!" You panicked in your mind. "I have to do something!! But what can I do?!" You clutched your hands into fists and squeezed your eyes shut.

Ba-thump

"Huh?"

Ba-thump

"What is this? I can hear a heart beating. It sounds so close." You thought as you followed the sound and it led you to your pocket in your skirt. "My pocket?" You questioned.

You dug your hand into your pocket and felt a cool and rough surface against your fingers. You pulled it out and examined the object.

"My dagger?" You mumbled in confusion, then remembered Kaname giving you your uniform before you left to save Yuki. "He snuck it into my pocket." You muttered.

You stared deeply at your dagger. Then it pulsed, like a heart beat. You traced your eyes on the blood red gem on your dagger--suddenly, your whole body began to pulsate. It felt like sparks were shooting around inside your body, your (h/l) (h/c) began to flow behind you.

"Raaaaagh!!" The vampire growled, leaping towards Yuki.

Ssshing

Yuki, Yori, and Aido jumped at what they just saw.

In a matter of seconds, you appeared in front of Yuki and Yori with your back to them. Your hair slowly flowing in front of them.

"What--" grunted the vampire, coughing up blood.

You had a sword, shining in a bright turquoise color, thrusted into the vampire's gut. Your eyes were closed at first then slowly opened up, revealing different color eyes. Your left eye was blood red while your right eye was pearl white.

"Creatures like you are not meant to walk this earth." You growled as you yanked the sword out of the vampire's gut, followed by it turning to dust.

Yuki, Yori, and Aido stare at you looking speechless.

"(Name)...?" Yuki spoke.

You didn't respond, you just stood in front of her with your sword covered with blood at your side. Then you suddenly felt a pain in your right eye as you gripped it and began to stumble in pain.

"DIE!!!" screeched another vampire as he leaped toward you.

But the vampire ended up being engulfed in ice as it then squeezed him to dust.

Aido stood before you and the girls with his hand in front of him.

"Hmph. You're no match for me." Aido spoke in a confident yet serious tone.

You were still holding your right eye in pain then your legs gave way.

"(Name)!!!" Yuki cried, then Aido quickly turned and caught you in his arms.

You began to cringe and sweat. Aido watched you closely then looked at Yori.

"Yori..." Aido spoke, making Yori jump. "Take (Name)'s sword and put it in her shieth." He instructed.

"Ah, y-yes!" Yori nodded then took your sword and shoved it into the shieth.

(Think of it like inuyasha's sword going into his shieth)

When the sword was in the shieth, you collapsed in Aido's arms along with Yuki running to your side.

"Yuki...what's going on? What happened to you and... (Name)?!" Yori asked a bit panicked.
