Chains (Sabo x Reader)

Two years flew by since the party. You're now nineteen. Over the last two years, you became even more accustomed to being a Revolutionary. Random missions would pop up and you did whatever you could to help. Besides advising Dragon in planning major missions, you became the Chief Tactician (Koala even threw a party for you), so you also directed the planning division of the Revolutionary which consists over a hundred people. Every day was hectic. Also, due to the fact you're a director, you spent your work time at the base and hadn't left from it very far.

Over time, you and Koala became best friends and the occasions with Sabo wasn't so awkward anymore. Sabo had also received the title of Chief Staff of the Revolutionary Army, making him the No. 2. Sometimes, he would randomly go into your room and add a piece of fabric to your chain. At the end of a day, you would be surprised by it, but at the same time, you would know how he was doing and vice versa, since you didn't meet up a lot due to the piles of work.

You knelt down. ¨Okay... if the office is located there and the party is taken place here... there would be guards positioned at these corridors, so the best route is to go this way." You drew a path on the map. Koala and Sabo nodded their heads in acknowledgement. You took a deep breath. This was your first official mission outside of base. After being cooped up in the base for the past four years, Dragon surprised you with a mission with Sabo and Koala. Apparently, not enough information was obtained for this mission so you were sent to make plans right on the spot. You were shocked at first but happy that you get to go outside for once.

Once you knew about the mission, you quickly called Ace, who you had been talking to at least twice a month. The two of you quickly planned on where to meet up and the conclusion was for Ace to show up at the estimated time of when you would be finish with the mission.

When Koala and Sabo left to the retrieve the documents, you went to the back of the building to be the lookout for enemies and for Ace.

You scanned the outside scenery, the noble's garden which was well kept. The moon flowers opened up at the night sky and you could smell its perfume. "After they retrieved the documents then we need to transport it through the runner who's meeting us at Flora Street, three blocks away. Flora Street has tendency to have a lot people wandering around at night," you reviewed all the information you had gathered for the last few days. "Why Flora Street? Maybe take advantage of the fact people like to go there at night and just stay on street and not go on the rooftops to avoid suspicion. So later on, send Sabo with documents to the runner and Koala and I would follow via the alleys, each on the other side of the streets..."

While planning the next step, you continued to vigilantly watch for Sabo and Koala. When you see Sabo and Koala walking out of the hall next to you, you met up with them, and the three continued on to the next step. As you stayed on the left of the street, Sabo calmly walked to the alley #5 to meet up with the runner, Finally, the runner received the documents and the three of you completed the mission.

As you walked back to the harbor where a small ship waited, you kept on looking for Ace. "So why do you think it was so hard to obtain information about this place in the first place?" Koala asked, curiously.

"For the last few months, because someone was careless, word had spread that the Revolutionary Army was coming here and that scared the government officials and they enforced the military protection here," Sabo explained

"So by sending only the three of us, the government here wouldn't pay attention to us since they're expecting a huge of group," you added on.

"And that Dragon had the No. 2 and the Chief Tactician come!" Koala concluded.

"And the No. 2's sidekick," you teased.

Koala pouted, "That's degrading me you know!"

Suddenly, Sabo covered the girls' mouth and shushed them. "Someone's following us," he whispered.
