"Last time, we trekked for three hours and were starving at the end!"

"Then let's go to the marketplace!"

"Can we go see to the craft store?" you pointed to the chain dangling from the tall tree. "We're running out of fabric."

"Good idea!"

~At the marketplace~

Both of you were munching on popcorn that Sabo got (Now about the method of getting it, you really didn't approve, so you ended paying for it anyways). Besides the bag of popcorn you each had, you both carried a bag of fabric scraps for the chain. The lady had been nice and just gave you all the leftover pieces people didn't need.

"What do we do now?" Sabo asked you in between bites.

You pointed to a large of group of people nearby. "Why don't we go see what that's about?"

As you tunneled through the crowd, you could hear shouts of protests. A thundering voice stopped the clamor. "We will now start the judging Annabelle Cresthart. Would the scribe read the charges?"

"Annabelle Cresthart has been brought with the charges of an affair by Louros Fallendun and also mingling with the lower class."

"Jury?"

It was only seconds of whispering and the jury had already came up with a decision. "The girl is found guilty. Charges are banishment from this country. The man she had an affair with would be held for a fifteen year sentence for staining the Cresthart family."

"Well that didn't take long," you whispered to Sabo. "Sabo?"

Sabo had a scowl on his face. He clenched his fist, then grabbed your hand. "Let's get out of here!"

"Sabo?" The angry boy pulled you away. "Is something wrong?"

Sabo didn't answer and kept his steady pace, leading you away from the crowd.

As you followed Sabo, you could hear people whispering about the Annabelle Cresthart. "I heard that the girl was found with another of a lower class walking together that's all," a nearby woman stated.

"They were just out on a date."

"Plus, the girl was only just engaged..."

Finally, Sabo had already took you five blocks away when he let go your hand. "Sabo, so something wrong?" You rubbed your hand. Sabo's grasp was hard and it's release left a tingling feeling.

"N-nothing... I just don't like crowded places," he changed the topic, "Did I hurt you hand? I'm sorry..."

You raised your eyebrow, questionably. "Something else is making him mad..." you thought. "Hey, if you have something on your mind, you can-"

"- (Name), Why don't we go back and put the fabric back? Then we could play on the swing that we made. You really wanted to do it yesterday but it rained."

"Uh... ok!" You let Sabo lead you once again. However, the fact that you cut you off still worried you, but you first kept it to yourself.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"I'm home!" your voice echoed around the empty mansion. Since it was the summer time, your "family" had left for vacation. Your "wonderful" aunt had let all the household servants and maids have time off, leaving you the only person living the huge house. "I guess the good thing about it is that I have this whole place to myself and no can tell me what to do," you murmured to yourself.
You went to kitchen and started fixing. Ever since the start of the vacation, you had made your own meals, and you really enjoyed doing so. You would flip through all the recipe books and make whatever you wanted. Every week, there would be a delivery that sent basic supplies of food to your house. You had guess that it was what the cook usually ordered. If a recipe calls for something unusual then you would personally go to market place and get it yourself.
You browsed through a cook book about soups and stews and licked your lips when you saw the one to make tonight: (favorite soup)*. You set to work, preparing what the recipe required. It just so happen that all the ingredients need was all available in the kitchen. After a long time (and some trial and error), you dinner was ready. You cautiously carried the huge pot of hot steaming soup to the dining room. After setting the pot down, you noticed how plain the room was and quickly dashed out to pick some flowers for decoration.
As you plucked some purple-pink petunias, you noticed a shrub rustling nearby and just barely visible was a black top hat with a pair of blue goggles. You shook your head at the lack of camouflage. "Sabo, you can come out now."
Sabo's head popped out the push, looked around carefully, and then finally came out of his hiding place. "I was just worried that it might one of your maids or servants."
"So what are you doing here?"
"I really rather not go back home today... Can I stay with you?"
You blinked. "S-stay with me? I g-guess you can." You snipped the last flower. "Come on in."
*(A/N: yes, pick one! I personally like tomato basil XD)
