A Fighter's Path

**Zak POV**

I quickly jumped over big roots that popped up from the ground and under branches that hung too low to be safe for anyone. My dark purple and bright red long hair danced in the wind with the petals of spring and the many song that the Swablu sing. My big blue and green eyes sparkled at the sight of the Forest Of Ghost.

"Okay if I were Death Valley, where would I be?" I asked myself as I stopped and let the soft warm soil go between my toes. I took a deep breath and a nice big whiff of the air, and I smelled the stench of rotting flesh. "*cough cough* Yup I'm getting closer." I raced towards the smell and saw a bunch of ghost type Pokemon like a Phantump and a Haunter.

"Hi Zak!" A familiar voice appeared and turned my head to see without stopping. I looked and saw several ghost type Pokemon waving at me so I waved back.

"Hi!" I continued and as the stench got worse, the slower I got, I didn't want to fall right in. I slowed down far enough to stop completely, all that was left for me to do was walk passed this bush and my bushy tail and I will be as strong as Papa Zorro. I took a deep breath and didn't sniff the air because it was intoxicated by the stench and I didn't want any of that. I walked through the bush and opened my eyes to see a giant brick wall. "What in the world?" I looked around and it looked like this wall had no end to it, it just went on and on and on to infinity.

"Take that!" I heard on the other side of the wall, an odd and non-familiar voice. I looked at the height of the wall, it didn't seem to be as tall as the trees that I've trained jumping on, so I firmly put my feet on the ground and took another deep breath before I jumped. I jumped so high that I made it over the wall and I landed in a bush that I think had blue berries and Oran berries. I took some berries and stuff them in my mouth before turning to the noise and poking my head out of the bush.

"You all are so slow." I saw that there was a group of Pokemon of all types, there was a girl with short blonde pretty hair, a sleeveless light yellow shirt, a small short pink skirt, a pair of high pink pumps and a tattoo on her left arm in the shape of a heart. She danced around the a dirt field dodging several moves that were being used on her.

"Stand still!" A boy around the same age as the blonde girl showed up and tried to cut her with a glowing green blade, but she jumped away. The boy had long green hair that covered on of his eyes,  a green sleeveless shirt that was tight on his muscular body, a red triangle thingy poking out of his shirt and white loose fight pants. He jumped after her in a dirt battle field.

"Arceus Nicole! You're fast!" A  girl with long blue hair chased after the two running around the dirt field. She had big light blue ears, a strapless light and dark blue short dress that let her long light blue tail come out and long high blue heeled boots. She had a cold snowy aura around her and as she ran her boots left a snow boot print. I slowly got out of the bush and walked beside a wall and watched them chase each other around and using moves against each other.

"Try and catch me Topaz!" The blonde girl danced around as the boy got irritated trying to hit her with his sword but missing every time. While he swung his sword at her the other girl with blue hair used ice beam and shot it at the blonde girl.

"Crystal! Help me, please!" The boy, I'm guessing is Topaz, called out to the blue haired one, I'm guessing is Crystal.

"What do you think I'm doing!" She retaliated and shot it at Topaz and hit him on his back. Topaz turned around and ran after Crystal with his giant sword glowing with a pink glow.

"That's enough!" A mysterious voice appeared and in a flash all three of them fell to the ground. I looked around before running back to the bush to hide. I closed my eyes and kept my mouth shut.

"What happened?" I heard Topaz and Crystal ask someone.

"I made Nicole use taunt one you." The new voice answered.

"Yup and you chased me around like crazy Pokemon. I almost got my pumps dirty." I heard Nicole say.

"Why did you do that?" Crystal asked.

"To test how you've improved in your training." The voice answered.

"So you had us chase Nicole around like an angry Ryhorn?" Topaz asked. I heard footsteps walk away from the group.

"Crystal where are you going?" Nicole asked Crystal, who I am assuming is the one who walked away. Everything was quiet for a second, so I decided to open my eyes. Next thing I know someone grabbed me by my ears and pulled. "What in the world?!" I fell out of the bush and looked up at them.

"What are you doing here? Who are you? How did you get in?" Topaz asked me over and over again while Nicole talked a lot and freaked out. I looked over at Crystal who was silently looking at me with her big blue eyes. She went  down to my height and gave me a hug.

"Are you okay?" She asked me. I nodded in response. "I mean where are your mom and dad?" She said pulling away and looking me dead in the eyes. Topaz and Nicole all of the sudden became quiet and stopped talking. I got up and bowed down for forgiveness before walking over to the wall.

"You know it's bad not to answer a question that a nice girl asked you politely." The new voice appeared and I turned around to see a girl with long spiky blonde hair and big yellow ears with big purple eyes. She wore a tight yellow and white v-neck shirt, under a yellow jacket with white spiky fluff around the hoodie part and yellow short shorts with yellow heeled boots. "So?" She walked up to me and squat down to see me eye to eye. "Where is your mom and dad? Maybe we can take you to them." She smiled at me, I was only nine years old so I guess it looked weird that I was alone in the forest.

"Light, look at what he's wearing! He may not have a mom and dad?" Nicole stated pointing out my black loose sleeveless shirt and my black loose karate pants that were being held up by karate belt tape that I used as a belt and for the bottom of the pants around my shins.

"Nicole, don't be rude." Crystal snapped at her, then looked at me with a worried face expression. I looked at them and felt my heart beat faster and faster, how can I answer a question that I don't know the answer to?

"Meep!" I quickly jumped and did a back flip over the wall and turned around before landing with my back towards the big brick wall. As soon as I landed, I raced back into the forest. As I was running I looked around to see if they were following me and I didn't look ahead.

"Hey!" I crashed into someone and pieces of wood went flying into the sky.
