**Zak POV**
Everything was dark. Nothing but silence. No light. No color. Just black silence.
'Where am I?' I thought to myself as looked around to see nothing, just dark silence. There was nothing around me and no one to rescue or help out like Papa told me to. I had nothing to do and I felt like a berry that was thrown away for being too old. I put my head between my legs, on my knees and sat there in complete silence where my whimpering didn't exist.
"Hey buddy why don't you come home?" I heard a voice and saw Papa standing in front of my town's entrance with his hand out to grab and pull me up. I saw my old village with it's great green forest grass and clean meadows and perfect blue sky with clouds that were as white as marshmallows and looked as soft as cotton. I saw everyone in the village stand there, waiting for me to come home, all my friends and all the adults with their husbands and wives smiling, waiting there for me to come back home and hug every single one of them. I saw all our houses and famous flowers that change color with emotion of the one who touches it. I jumped up and almost began to run to them when it hit me.
"That's not my home anymore." I said turning away from them all and looking back at the shadows of the emptiness of the silent darkness. I knew that I could never go back there, I could never return to the place where I was born and the place where I called home for most of my tiny life.
"Come on son, come back home." I turned around and saw the truth of what my home has turned into. The houses were on fire and everyone ran around suffering and Papa was cut in half, half monster half Papa. Everyone I know was running around, fire on there head and hair as the houses burn into ashes and the sky was full of dark heavy storm clouds. The green meadows from before were covered in dead hollow crisp bodies of children and their parents. The precious famous flowers were all now ashes and dust in the wind, blowing it and the spirits of the dead into the Forest Of The Ghost.
"Home is gone and left me behind to die slowly for my mistakes." I said letting a single tears fall down my face and land on the soft soil that was fertilized with the bodies of all my dead loved ones. I looked back at Papa, half of Papa at least. His normal hand touched my cheek and wiped my tear away. I rubbed my cheek on his warm loving hand, missing him even more. I looked up at his perfect blue eyes and a waterfall of tears fell from my eyes and watered the graves of my best friends.
"Join us, just come home." Papa told me smiling with his half monster face and his hollow demonic eye.
"I can't, you know what he said before he died: 'The one who caused all this will suffer a million deaths to feel the real pain that comes with betraying the law of Pokemon Village.'" I saw grand chief Alakazam die once again as he cursed me with a thousand painful deaths.
"Oh baby boy." He said giving me a kiss on my forehead with his normal side of his face.
"Don't worry Papa, one down and 999 left to go." I said smiling at my father as he wiped away my tears.
--Wake Up--
I gasp for air as I come back to life and scream in the pain of my hands. I found myself in a room with a bed and a window. I looked around and saw my hands were bandaged up and bloody. I took of the bandage to reveal my normal hand, no cuts, no stab holes, no nothing. I took a deep breath and said, "One down and 999 more to go."
