A Fighter's Path

Last time on Fighter's Path:

"Happy birthday!" Everyone cheered for Zak's birthday and were now all grown up. After years of training and becoming stronger, everyone partied until the sun came up.

Light and Flare have two ADORABLE children that love to take on life their own way. Topaz found a special lady that likes him right back. Flame and Zak have a spark and more like a flame together. Crystal is the party queen and found her man at the party.

Last but not least, someone is out to get the birthday boy and no one even knows they're coming.

**Zak's POV**

My head was pounding like a thousand drums in a thunderstorm, being tossed around and slamming against each other. My body ached like as if I was stabbed endlessly by knives and thorns after being thrown in a rose bush. My eye lids were heavy like anvils covering both my eyes preventing me from opening them.

"Ugh...." I said trying to get up but couldn't I couldn't move a muscle or lift a finger, so I just drifted off again, going back to sleep to try and remember what happened last night or yesterday.

----Time Skip----

I woke up and my body and head still ached but not as much as before. I opened my eyes and saw a bright light. After my eyes adjusted to the light I found myself looking at the sky. I slowly got up and looked around and found myself in a beautiful grassy green hill meadow with a big rock in the middle. I held my head for a second to try and think.

"What happened?" I asked myself as I remember a party.

**flashback!**

The lights went out and everyone was drinking something. Everyone partied and were acting funny. Light and Flare were making out, like always and Topaz and Gardevoir were doing it in the other room, like always. Flame and I were dancing as we drank something.

**flashback end**

"Where am I?" I said holding my head and remembered where this place is.

**flashback**

Poppa and I sat together in the shade of a nearby tree and walked the world go by as we relaxed and had fun. It is also the place where Flame and I went to our first date.

Flame looked at me worried about something, he seemed nervous which was odd of him because we've been best friends and met exactly a year ago. He kept not looking at my eyes or even at me period. I smiled and moved around trying to see his face, and as expected he moved his head trying not to let me see.

"Come on Flame. Tell me what's wrong." I said as i noticed he had something behind his back. "What's this?" I went to check it out but he moved and kept his head down.

"Nothing!" He shouted as he blushed. I giggled a little bit before playing around again and tried to see what he was hiding.

"Come on buddy it's me, your best friend." I said trying to get the hidden object behind his back.

"Okay." He said and I stopped being annoying for a second. I waited and saw that his face was red, not like when he is mad but when he's embarrassed about something.

"So, what is it?" I said in my questioning voice. He turned around hugged the thing and ran into his room.

"You'll see it at the big field with the  big rock in the middle." He yelled from inside his room. I sighed and said okay then i turned around and was about to walk when everyone fell out into the hallway in which we were talking in from the closest room.

I sighed and shook me head "I don't even want to know what you guys were going in my bedroom." I said jumping over them and kept walking til I was out the main door.

Later that day I made it to the spot and saw Flame's ears on the other side of the rock, so I sneaked up to him slowly before jumping and screaming.

"Meep!" He jumped up and screamed. I laughed before looking at him, he was wearing an obviously too big tux and was blushing like a nerd that just got kiss by the prom queen. I looked around and saw a blanket on the ground and a brown basket with food in it.

"Yay food!" I said jumping on the blanket and sat next to him and looked at the basket. "What's in the basket?" I asked wanting some food.

"Um." Flame looked nervous and went through the basket looking for something. He looked funny in that outfit and I decided to figure out a way to get him out of it, for him.

"Sure is hot, huh?" I said taking of my shirt and throwing it to the side, leaving me shirtless. I looked at Flame and he was blushing even harder. "Come on take it off, I mean we shower together. I've seen you shirtless before." I said pulling that silly tux off of him laughing a bit.

"Um here." He said blushing handing me my favorite berry! He had his favorite berry in his other hand.

"Thanks bud!" I said taking the berry and giving him a hug. There we were, two boys on a blanket hugging shirtless.

"I love you." He said softly. I didn't think he thought I heard him and I pulled away.

"I love you too." I said giving him a kiss on the lips. That was our first date and kiss.

"How did I get here?" I couldn't remember a thing after the party, almost as if the world blocked me out for that moment in time and space.

"Don't you worry about that." I heard a voice coming from behind me. I turned around and saw her, her big pink lips and long blonde hair.

"Julez?!"
