After the last of the twelve chimes echoed over camp, the gigantic doors opened. There stood the Grand Master, with his silver robe on and his gray eyes focused on us with power and leadership. We bowed in respect to the Grand Master and greeted him with a "Good Afternoon, Master."
"To you all as well." he said. "Scarlet, I see you brought your normal pair to accompany you, which I was expecting."
I nodded. "They are great companions with equal strength and intelligence. They are able to help me in many situations. We also have great cooperative skills." Man, I sound like one of my elemental professors... I thought to myself
"I can tell through the success of your missions." he said. "I thank you all for attending. Please, follow me."
We followed him inside.
Inside, we walked down the small, quarts pathway that led to The Peace Seeker. You often saw him "Seeking" upon the stone, letting the power of the stone make him float and the Crystals of Elements swirling around him slowly. Outlining them were the same pillars that glowed and protected us from the outside, now, glowing a respectfully dim amount of light, its turquoise color illuminating the room lightly. In between the dimly lit pillars were floating torches who gave a light that would give enough comfort to its guests, and would glow brighter at its master's command.
Right under the torches was a path that was hidden by the torches' limited light and the dim pillars. There was two paths on each side of the path, distinctly revealing four doors for when the fires heart brightened under the Grand Master's flick of his frail and withered hand.
The master did so, and the pillars brightened and the torches made minimal room for the remaining darkness. This amount of brightness revealed all four doors. The Master guided us to one of the four; the front left door. He opened it and revealed a room I have never been in before: The Room of Meetings.
The Room of Meetings was a long, oval shaped room with red velvet walls, with decorative book shelves that held ancient volumes, along with amazing artwork that showed scenes of one of the most important Meeting of Importances. There was marble floors, and windows covered by evergreen shades. The whole room was dimly lit. We saw four figures that were similar to the Grand Master's, staring directly across from them, almost like a reflection of themselves.
We seated on two dark oak chairs with comfortable red cushioning. I sat on the opposite side of the Grand Master, who sat at the other short end of the rectangular table. Kate and Trent sat across from each other, sitting next to me on the long end of the table.
The torches lit up and all five masters were revealed. Each master wore his crystal that represented their element. The Grand Master had a mysterious turquoise one. Each crystal acted like a button for their robes so they wouldn't reveal their frail, withered bodies.
The masters greeted each other along with Kate, Trent and I.
"We thank you for your presence." said Master of Earth.
"Since this is your first meeting," said the Grand Master. "we shall give you our names."
"Edward of Earth." said the Master of Earth.
"Fredrick of Fire." said the Master of Fire.
"Alex of Air," said Master of Win, and then added quickly, "Wind also means air."
"Walter of Water," said Master of Water.
"And I," said Grand Master. "am Samuel."
Strange he didn't say his element. I thought. Probably because it was the element of mystery.
