Hello! Happy weekend! I suck at uploading when I say I'm going to so instead I'm just going to tell you to check back every week for a new chapter or two if I decide to remember when I have free time (which is rarely *cries*). Anyway, pic is of Sky and Dan and what they're kind of wearing on their date. I hope you enjoy :D

"This is a really nice car," Sky complimented as I walked around to the drivers side. I scratched the back of my neck. "Thanks, it was my present from my parents for my 21st birthday," I answered her. "I call shotgun!" Sky yelled before opening the door and climbing into the passengers seat. I couldn't help but chuckle at her. "You know it's just the two of us, right? I'm the driver and you're the passenger?" I smirked at her gleeful expression. "You never know," Sky stated matter-of-factly. I laughed again as he put on my seatbelt before turning the car on.

I passed the GPS to Sky so she could punch in her address. I knew Toronto pretty well, but I didn't have all of the streets memorized. We talked the entire drive and never seemed to run out of anything to say. "I'm guessing you don't have a car?" I asked Sky. "Nope," she answered, popping the P. "I usually get a ride from Avery. My parents told me that they would buy me one next year when I'm done school."

I nodded as I watched the road. It made sense to me. She lives with her friend and is studying in the city. Once she's done university she'd have a good reason for a car. My parents only got me one because I was studying outside of the city- that and because it was no trouble for them. Sky and I talked about more things like her parents. Her mom was a social worker and her father worked in the oil industry, which meant that he was barely ever there. He worked in different countries so he was only home for parts of the summer and certain holidays. Before I knew it we reached Sky's apartment building.

"Thank you so much for driving me Dan. It means the world to me" She said while smiling. "It's no problem at all. I would have done it even if you didn't accept to go out with me again," I said while smirking at her. She playfully punched me before speaking again. "Do you want to come upstairs? I have some ice-cream in the fridge." My stomach growled, which made Sky laugh. "What type of ice-cream?" I asked amused. Sky seemed persuasive. Luckily, she doesn't know my favourite type of ice-cream. "Chocolate with cookie dough chunks in it." Boy was I wrong. "Seeing as that's my favourite flavour, I'll go up." She smiled and showed me where the garage was.

Sky clicked something on her keys, which opened up the gates. Since Avery wouldn't be home there wouldn't be a problem parking in her spot instead of visitor's parking. We went into the elevator and she pressed the button that read "47." I've never seen an apartment building with more than 30 floors. My apartment only had 20. When the door opened, she led me to a large black door in the very long hallway. I'm guessing that's why she couldn't play Ding-dong ditch on the night of her birthday. I smiled at how fun Sky was. Most 21year olds would be too embarrassed to admit to doing silly things. Sky led the way into her apartment and into the living room. The apartment, or at least what I could see of it, was decorated nicely. It was a bit obvious that a girl, or two girls, had done all of the work, but it was very nice and homey.

I waited as Sky got the ice cream. I complimented her on the apartments decorating as she set the bowls of ice cream in front of me. "Shouldn't you call Avery?" I asked as I picked up my bowl. Sky snapped her fingers. "Right. Give me a sec." She picked up a blue antique looking phone. Sky called her workplace and requested them to tell Avery not to worry about her because she was going to take the bus home. When she was done with the call she sat down next to me and picked up her bowl. "You're going to take the bus?" I asked her, concerned. "Yeah, it'll only take an hour. I won't be too late." Sky shrugged. I gave her a look. "What?" She asked, confused.
