Hello! Please don't get angry at me for the cliff hanger! I know a lot of you were expecting it based on your comments (and if you guessed from reading the description of the story), but if you didn't SURPRISE?! Pic is of what Dan is wearing on his first day of school (Minus the model pose, but come on hehe). I hope you aren't too angry at what happens! Remember to check out my facebook page dedicated to my wattpad stories to see when I update new chapters so you don't have to check every day or every week for a new update!
This chapter is a tiny bit longer than usual, but I will have longer ones so don't worry!
Enjoy :D

Sky
Oh. My. God. What the hell is he doing here? He's supposed to start work today. Wait... He did start work today. Shit! He's my calculus teacher!
"Do you know her Mr. Phillips?" the cheer bitch with the broken nail asked Dan. Dan coughed a bit and adjusted his shirt a little. "Know her? No, of course not! She just really looks like someone I know. But it's definitely not the same person," he said uncomfortably. "Kay," Cheer bitch said before returning to her nail filing. "Well alright then. Let's just finish up with the attendance," Dan said after he shot me one of those "we need to talk" looks. "Dana Fields?"
Avery then whispered to me. "What the heck is going on?" I took a deep breath before responding. "I'm guessing this is his job." "Girls," Dan said. We looked at him worried before he continued. "No talking during the attendance. I need to learn 64 names this year." Dan still looked exasperated. "Sorry," Ave and I said simultaneously. Dan returned to the attendance. "Garrett Hastings?" A male from the football team announced he was there. "Avery Hope?" Dan called out shakily. Ave just raised her hand. "Brittany justice?" "Here," cheer bitch responded. I guess I know her name now. "We need to talk to him about it," Ave whispered. Dan sent us another look so we pretended that we weren't talking. Instead, I decided on writing her a note.
'Yeah, what the hell? Everything was so perfect.'
As soon as I passed the note Dan looked my way and caught me red handed. "Ms. Evans and Ms. Hope, detention for 10 minutes after school in this classroom." Ave and I had our mouthed dropped open, but then I noticed the way Dan was looking at us. He was going to talk to us about what was going on. He then finished up the attendance.
"Alright class. Since it's a new year and I'm a new teacher, I think we should get to know each other better. I'll think of a number from one to ten for each row and whoever is closest to the number, gets to go first." Great. I'm in the first row. Whoopee. Wow. I'm even sarcastic in my own thoughts. I then came up with an idea in my head. I have my question picked out. "Ok students, what numbers did you pick?" After everyone guessed it was my turn to guess. I raised my arm up and he called on me cautiously.
"Seven." He always picks that as his number. Dan gulped before speaking up again. "Great guess Ms. Evans. What's your question?" It was my turn to gulp. "Are you in a relationship?" I asked while keeping my voice stabilized. I heard Brittany and a few other cheer bitches shriek in excitement. Great. Dan gave me an unreadable expression.
"It's complicated," he answered. The cheer bitches shrieked. "That totally means no!" Brittany shrieked. "But don't worry Mr. Phillips. You're really hot so I don't think that'll be a problem for long." She somehow managed to discretely unbutton one of the holes in her shirt. That slut!
"No," Dan cut in. "It means it's complicated. Any more questions?" He said dryly. "And please Ms. Justice, could you refrain from calling me hot or anything amongst those cards?" he pleaded. Brittany's friends gasped a little and she just ignored him. I mentally laughed at her. The rest of the questions were normal things like, "How old are you?" "What's your background?" "What do you do for fun?" "What's your first name?" I groaned and slammed my head on my arms. This sucks. Then Avery pinched my arm. It was her turn for a question.
