Leo Valdez x Reader (Oneshots)

You and Leo had lived in Camp Half-Blood for about 3 years now. Leo had been chosen as a son of Hephaestus and you were a daughter of g/p/n.

You and Leo didn't confess your feelings for each other.

You both struggled to hide your feelings but you managed. Your head still told you to confess and admit that you were in love, but you being you, you denied.

Leo, on the other hand, was trying to find the perfect time to confess to you. Ever since you had held hands when you were discovered outside of camp borders, he felt confident. He felt confident that you liked him back, or maybe even loved him.

The fact that you had been best friends for over 5 years was already astonishing to you both. But figuring out if you liked each other was killing you both, mostly Leo.

You and Leo still hung out a lot, but you were still separated due to your godly parent.

You hated to admit it, but you missed cuddling with Leo when you'd fall asleep. And Leo felt the same way.

One day, you were just lazily laying in your cabin, having a mental battle with your voices. Leo decided that he would attempt to tell you his feelings that day.

He knocked on your door and said, "Hey, y/n. It's Leo. Can I come in?"

You tumbled off of your bed and onto the floor. "Come in," you muttered from the floor. Leo came in and instantly snorted at you. "What're you doing?" You looked up at him and playfully glared. "I'm embracing the carpet. I tumbled off of my bed, doofus."

Leo just grinned and sat on your bed. You got up and sat next to him.

You both sat there in awkward silence for about 5 minutes before Leo sneezed. "Bless you.." Leo just awkwardly wiped his nose on his sleeve and said, "Thanks.."

Leo had finally gotten to uncomfortable and said, "So, how's life.."

You shrugged and said, "Nothing much. Just laying in bed and thinking about life. How about you?" Leo thought, Confessing my feelings for you. But he said, "Same."

You nodded and looked at your hands. You remembered that moment 3 years ago when Leo squeezed your hand back.

Leo noticed that you were staring at your hands and he remembered that memory as well.

He blushed to himself and you saw. 

You slightly smiled and asked, "What're you blushing about?" Leo's eyes widened as he stuttered, "O-oh. U-um.. j-just stuff.. a-and.."

He sighed and said, "I'm thinking about something that happened 3 years ago."

You blushed as you realized you were both thinking about holding hands. "I was thinking about the same thing..."

Leo looked at you and smiled. He realized that the time was right now.

He turned his whole body towards you and said, "Look, there's something that I've been meaning to tell you.." 

You turned your body, as well and slightly blushed. Your mind was screaming, He's gonna confess!

You tried really hard not to believe it.

Leo gulped and started playing with his hands. "I-it has something to do with 3 years ago when we held hands..." You nodded and he went on. "I felt a special connection with you when that happened. Not in the best friend way but different."

Your head got the best of you and you said, "That's how I felt when we cuddled every night..." You realized what you said and covered your mouth.

Leo gave you a surprised look and said, "Really..? I didn't realize you felt that way..."

You blushed and mentally screamed at yourself for admitting you enjoyed cuddling with him. What Leo did next took you by surprise. "I felt the same way. When you would cuddle up to me on cold nights, it made me feel weird.."

You looked at him and saw that he was nervously looking at his fidgeting hands. 

Your eyes suddenly widened as you realized that the voices had stopped for the past 5 minutes. You felt different. You gulped and did what you had been avoiding for the past 3+ years.

"Leo, I've been wanting to tell you about this for years, but I never got around to it. I've had feelings for you for over 3 years now and..."

You decided that that was enough for a confession. You looked at Leo and saw that he was smiling. And it wasn't his usual goofy grin. It was a legitimate happy smile.

You looked down and almost jumped off the bed.

Leo was holding your hand. You looked back up at him and said, "So what does this mean..." Leo shrugged and said, "I mean, we both have strong feelings for each other and we enjoy each other's company..."

You knew where this was going.

Leo squeezed your hand and said, "Personally, I think we'd make a great couple.."

You snorted and said, "Yeah, a total match made by the gods or something.."  It was Leo's turn to snort.

Leo then looked at you and said, "But I seriously think that we should go out.."

You smiled and said, "Why not."

Leo then softly smiled and looked like your lips. You did the same and the voices came back.

"Do. It."

You followed what they said for once and leaned in.

You took Leo by surprise but he gladly kissed you back. The kiss became a little heated after a few seconds but you both separated for air.

You guys rested your foreheads together and still held hands. 

Leo quietly laughed and said, "Totally a match made by the gods 'or something.'"

You suddenly heard a floor board creak and you and Leo looked at the door, startled. Your eyes widened as you saw one of your siblings (or Percy).

"Okay, don't kill me but I saw that." You mentally face palmed and Leo blushed. Your sibling rolled there eyes and said, "By the way, I respect if you want to make out but don't make that much noise-" You chucked your pillow at her/him and yelled, "SHUT UP!"
