Please excuse the little mistakes like typos. But please, please notify me if there is a section that is jumbled and doesn't make any sense. Because it is late at night following a long day when I go over the chapter and this definitely isn't the time where my mind is most clear. "Men!" the Alpha called out to the big room filled with muttering men, together as a congregation they were very loud. On the command the room hushed and everyone sat up straighter, their eyes momentarily focused on the Alpha instead of John's daughter.

"Obviously, you've all noticed two things. One, John's daughter Carter has joined us today. The second thing you would have noticed. That strange scent that she is now radiating."

All the men nodded while muttering, quite confused and with their attention back on the Miller girl. Carter shied even further behind her father.

"She is probably the best thing that ever happened to our pack. Men, for those of you who haven't already guessed, Carter is the Rainlander Pine Pack's very own female werewolf."

The room erupted into absolute chaos! There was excitement, disbelief, pride and amazement. Together they all made quite a cacophony of noise, and it was all too much for Carter. She leaned completely on her father, covering her ears and was trying desperately to block it all out.

"Alpha Markcus!" John yelled over the crowd. The Alpha was completely preoccupied with the feeling of the room and great pride to notice.

"Alpha!" John shouted and finally got the Alpha's attention as the Alpha looked over to his good friend and noticed Carter. His eyes widen and his grin faded, the excitement of his pack really was wearing onto him. He hadn't even thought about Carter when he made the announcement about Carter. He didn't think that the next moments in the room could change from a room of 68 men and one frightened little girl, to a room with 68 men and one extremely frightened, very skittish and completely confused small blonde wolf.

"Everyone! Shut up!" Alpha Markcus roared and approached the whimpering pup calmly and slowly. The room was now deadly silent. Any none believer now believed and everyone had eyes on the pup on its hunches. The alpha got down and squatted in front of the blonde wolf, and started to calm her down through their mind link.

"Carter... It's alright now..." He whispered. "There is nothing that is going to hurt you, you are perfectly safe. And the noise has stopped. If you change back in the other room and put on that jacket on the counter top. You can go upstairs into Patrick's room and borrow some more clothes. Then you can go home to your party and friends. Do you remember how to shift back?"

Carter nodded slowly. Alpha Markcus smiles and encouraged her into running into the next room. Carter ran off with her tail between her legs and left the room of men. She left them all in a state of awe.

"That is bloody incredible!" One man yelled and then loud exclamations became a sea of sound.

"Keep it down!" The alpha and John both snapped simultaneously without effect. Thousands of 'Hows?', 'When's?' and 'what's?' flooded the room. The noise was getting quite substantial.

Alpha Markcus yelled at them all again, and the questions stopped flowing and the noise stopped.

"When she leaves and is safely out of earshot, we will continue this meeting. John, call Jocline and have her pick Carter up immediately." The Alpha ordered. John nodded and walked into the next room, pulling out his phone.
