Completely Unexpected ~Dark Link X Reader~

After the first two months of your permanent residence at Dark's castle, you started to notice he had some unusual habits. It hasn't been more than a week since it started but you caught on very quickly. About two hours or so after the two of you went to bed he would leave for 30ish minutes and then get back to the room and sleep with his back towards you. On top of the odd nightly habits, he started training more often and harder; nearly pushing himself to exhaustion. Dark claims to be trying to keep his skills sharp since he doesn't have "anyone of a challenge to spar with" but you knew better, something was up.

Another week passed with out confrontation and he started to become even more physically distant, now he was even leaving the castle for 4 or more hours a day. Could he be cheating? you would think after a long day without him. He had made such a big spectical about you being his and how he was deeply in love with you, so why?.... You made up your mind to ask him as son as he got home.

Not wanting to over think the situation any more than you already had, you asked a guard to escort you to your family's farm and were there in no time at all. "(Y/N)!!!," your sister squeals as she wraps you in a tight hug. "I saw you three days ago," you laugh out, hugging her back. "Well I still get lonely. Come on in, I'll make some tea or somethin." Marie walks into the house with you in tow, "Is there something you wanted to talk about in particular?"  She smiles smiles at you and a sudden pang of hurt hits your chest. "No, I'm good," you state and close the door behind you.

~Time skip after the visit~

Heading back to the room you share with Dark, you think of how exactly you were going to confront him. You pause and take a deep breath outside the door before turning the handle. "Shadow?" No reply. "Shaaaaadowww?" He should be home by now. "B-BATHROOM!," he yells back harshly and frantic. Goddess, rude.. You shuffle over to the restroom door and knock lightly. "Are you alright in there?," you say sympathetically. "I am fine! Go away. Please!" The annoyance in his voice was evident but you needed to talk before you courage faded. "Well w-when do you think you'll be done? Because I wanted to-" "Shit, (y/n)! Just go away I don't want to talk!" There was an audible snap in your patience and before you knew it you were reaching to open the door. "Listen here I have been goddess damn worried about you these past few weeks and all I want to know is if you are," you get the door fully open," cheating," your voice goes softer," .. on..me..." Dark is standing fully naked with his trousers around his ankles and length in his hand, leaning against the counter, mouth gaping. Your face goes crimson. "I AM SO SORRY!," you scream while closing the door.

You stand glued in your place, just staring at the floor. Of course Showdow was above average in everything but forget hung like a horse, that man is closer related to a elephant than a horse! Maybe I am naive but I don't think penises should be that big... You didn't realize the door had opened until you felt Dark lifting up your face to look at him. "You think I'm cheating on you?," hurt is laced in his words and for a split second you remember what you wanted to say before the 'viewing party' happened. "You've just been -taking a deep breath- avoiding me, so much lately. And with your long day trips that's that's the first thing that came to mind." Your eyes start to fall in shame and the image of Shadows naked body pops in as they fall on his bare chest. "Wh-why are you still naked?!," you jump away and scamper completely under the bed covers.

The pale skinned man chuckles half heartedly and goes to spoon with your curled figure. He wraps his arms around you and attempts to find your head, "I would never cheat on you." "Then where have you been going all day?," you say, muffled by the covers. "I been... running errands," he sounds half truthful. "I don't believe you," you pout from under the covers," you're gone all day and never spend time with me anymore. You won't even cuddle with me! I've noticed that you avoid physical contact with me!" Flustered, you push your boyfriend aside and flip the covers off. Emotions between anger, hurt, and sadness are portrayed in your facade, "Why are you avoiding me?!...."
