Waiting ... this is so incredibly boring. Sophie thought when Allison asked her to wait outside with her for Scott that it would be a little more fun instead of being depressing. Though that can be expected considering how late Scott is. At least it was a warm night.
Plus it got her away from the moody Argent's. Turns out when they found out Sophie had gotten a detention they weren't exactly pleased. Sophie had tried to explain she was literally just a bystander but they weren't having any of it. Though Sophie wasn't grounded and Allison got ungrounded so the teenage girls classed that as a win.
Sophie's phone bleeped while she listened to Allison on the phone. From what Sophie could make out Lydia and Jackson were on the other side. They seemed to be equally as annoyed as Sophie was for making Allison wait for half an hour. To take her mind off ways she'd yell at Scott for being an idiot towards Allison Sophie checked her phone.
Text message from unknown:
Meet me at the school. URGENT. -Stiles
Why would Stiles want Sophie to go to the school? Why would Stiles want to talk to Sophie, a girl who he'd only just met, about an urgent matter? Why did Stiles have Sophie's phone number? How did Stiles have Sophie's number? All questions Sophie had that she'd probably never get the answer too unless she went to the school.
Just as Sophie turned to Allison to make an excuse as to why she was leaving a car pulled up beside them. Allison sighed as she ended the phone call. Sophie was pulled along as Allison wandered towards the drivers side; the window rolled down to reveal Jackson staring at them both.
"Lydia gets what Lydia wants." He mused. "Come on, get in. We can stop by his place and see if he's there."
Once again Sophie opened her mouth to protest. She needed to get to the school and quickly because she had a bad feeling about that text. Unfortunately Sophie was cut off by Allison's phone beeping and Lydia questioning the text that was probably from Scott. "Is that him with the best explanation ever of why he's half a freaking hour late?"
"Not exactly."
Sophie rose an eyebrow, "Then what is it?"
"He wants me to meet him at the school."
Stiles wants Sophie at the school and Scott wants Allison at the school. Sophie didn't really think that was legit. She understood the boys were best friends but why did they both need to meet one of the Argent teenagers at the school at night? Also, why couldn't Stiles have just asked Sophie to bring Allison with her? Something didn't add up.
Either way Sophie and Allison climbed into the back of Jackson's car. Sophie didn't exactly get a good vibe from Jackson either. It must've just been all of the things she'd heard about him already added with the way he clearly flirts with Allison in front of his girlfriend Lydia. That's just not her type of friend but she was dealing with it for Allison and Lydia, hoping one day they'd see the light and dump or unfriend his sorry ass.
Thanks to Sophie's quick disliking of Jackson the car ride wasn't that eventful. Every now and again somebody would try to make conversation but it would often get changed back to why Scott and Stiles were at the school. It seemed nobody could fathom why they're doing what they're doing either. At least Sophie wasn't the only one.
Finally they arrived outside of the school and Jackson stepped out of his car to let the two Argent girls out as well. "What're they doing here anyway?" He asked once they were both out.
