GHOST [ TW ]

Unlike Allison Sophie decided to divert away from the boys. If both girls went to meet them secretly in the aisles of the library then it'd look a bit suspicious so Sophie took one for the team. Plus somebody needed to keep an eye on Jackson and it had to be one of two of the Argent cousins considering Scott and Stiles got themselves a restraining order against him.

The story of the restraining order was far from amusing. Stiles went to the station with Scott to tell his dad but they were fully unaware Jackson had got there first. Jackson had told his dad about being basically kidnapped by Scott and Stiles - for some reason he left the girls out of it, probably because they weren't there - thus creating the restraining order. Luckily Sophie and Allison had managed to sneak the kanima master information before the two boys were probably grounded.

Leaving each other with only smiles Sophie and Allison parted ways in the hallway. It didn't take long for Sophie to catch a glimpse of Jackson. He was scurrying down the hallway quite casually which confused Sophie. Though, then again, after events as traumatic as being held hostage people in Beacon Hills get back to their day to day lives amazingly quickly.

Either way Jackson was still the kanima who was being controlled by some homicidal person and he needed to be watched. While dodging Lydia in case any more questions relating to what she'd translated came up Sophie followed after him. Jackson wandered into a science room which conveniently had two doors so Sophie went to the one he didn't and peered through.

Nothing disposable was happening as far as Sophie could see, which was the whole classroom, it simply looked as if he was waiting for somebody. Sophie wondered if it was his master. She knew it was a long shot but stayed anyway. You never know they could be hiding in plain sight. Sophie'd brought up the idea of Jackson actually knowing what he is and who he's working for but none of the other three seemed to think he was capable of lying that big. After all it was him who blew Scott being the second beta to the Argent's months ago, Stiles pointed out over the phone the night before.

Just as Sophie was about to leave she watched Jackson make his way towards a glass box. Sophie distinctly saw that he was staring intently at a relatively large snake. It was probably part of his instincts as the kanima, a reptile, to be drawn to other reptiles. That's what Sophie put his fascination down to anyway.

Like usual his fascination turned south quickly. Jackson lifted up the roof of the glass box and allowed the snake to travel up his arm. It seemed as if Jackson had a death wish and Sophie knew that if anything for too risky then she'd have to brave it and run in. Even if Jackson was beginning to get in kanima mode, which it looked like because of his trance, Sophie would rather get seriously injured than have him die on her watch.

Sophie's hands tickled the door handle as the snake traveled to the back of Jackson's neck. She thought it was going to strangle him but it was too small to do that despite how large it actually was. Jackson seemed all too calm for it do that as well which was one of the reasons Sophie didn't barge in to help him.

With wide eyes and a hand covering her mouth Sophie watched as the snake slithered into Jackson's mouth. Honestly it was so disgusting Sophie felt as if she moved her hand away from her mouth her lunch would spray all over the floor. That thought wasn't making it any easier to keep the food down. Despite that she knew she had to keep on watching just in case Jackson began to choke or something. But he never did, he simply let the snake disappear inside of him.

Before Sophie could think about the fact the snake could be sliding about around his organs or getting tangled up in his intestines Sophie breathed out in relief that a teacher walked into the room. Jackson who was unusually calm since he probably didn't remember turned around. Sophie was afraid he was going to attack the teacher who asked if Jackson still wanted to discuss his paper but thankfully it never happened.
