In a line the seven teenagers who'd gotten themselves a detention strolled into the library. Obviously things could only get worse when Allison's table filled up and Sophie was forced to sit next to Erica and opposite Scott and Stiles. She decided against studying for the first part and started rehearsing her speech to the Argent's. It wasn't rocket science, Sophie knew they'd had questions for the two youngest Argent huntresses.

"Oh, uh..." Jackson began as he took his seat at Allison's table. "We can't be in detention together. I have a restraining order against these tools."

Harris gestured to everyone on the two tables, "All of these tools?"

"No," Stiles began gesturing to himself and Scott. "Just us tools."

"Fine." Harris said and gestured to the table furthest away from Jackson. "You two, over there."

Sighing, Sophie pulled out her copy of the bestiary. Ever since Lydia had translated some of it she'd been writing notes about the kanima and linking it to anything she could find on the Internet. Also she had tried to use some of the words Lydia had to translate the rest but that wasn't going as well. So far Sophie had figured out the word 'a'.

Seen as though that was going so incredibly well Sophie decided to return back to plan a. Studying. It was a boring few minutes in which Sophie stared at math hoping it would sink in her brain. At least Erica seemed amused at Sophie's struggling. Finally things picked up a little when Jackson practically ran out of detention claiming he needed some water with Harris trailing behind him.

Musical chairs seemed to be the theme of this detention seen as though as soon as the two boys had fled through the door Stiles and Scott sprinted to sit next to Sophie and Erica. At least Sophie wasn't totally alone with Erica anymore but she was worried about the fact the security camera was now facing them. Awkwardly Sophie pursed her lips towards it, knowing that Victoria Argent was managing them today.

"Stiles says you know how Jackson's parents died." Scott stated to Erica from his seat next to Sophie.

"Maybe."

Covering her mouth from the security cameras Sophie demanded, "Tell us."

After dramatically sighing Erica spilled the beans, "It was a car accident. My dad was the insurance investigator, and every time he sees Jackson drive by in his Porsche, he makes some comment about the huge settlement he'll be getting when he's 18."

"So not only is Jackson rich now, but he's getting even richer at eighteen?" Stiles asked in awe of the situation.

"Yep."

"There's something so deeply wrong with that." Stiles mused.

Sophie didn't trust Erica one bit, what reason had she given her too? None. All Erica had done was be a horrible person to Sophie for no apparent reason. Sure Sophie retaliated but only because she felt, in a way, betrayed. Either way, Sophie didn't trust her about anything, including anything about Jackson and his parents.

"How do we know you're not lying to us?" Sophie questioned. "It's not like that'd be uncommon for you."

"And here I was thinking we were becoming friends, Sophie." Erica fake smirked at her making the brunette roll her eyes. "You know what? I could try to find the insurance report on my dad's inbox. He keeps everything."
